चंडीगढ़ शहर को स्वच्छता में अग्रणी बनाने की दिशा में शुक्रवार को वार्ड नंबर 24 में स्वच्छ मशाल रैली का आयोजन किया गया। भारी बारिश के बाबजूद भी स्थानीय निवासियों विशेषकर महिलाओं में 

स्वच्छ मशाल रैली के प्रति उत्साह देखते ही बन रहा था। रैली में 

स्थानीय निवासियों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया। महिलाओं ने तो बल्कि इस रैली में "चंडीगढ़ की नारी- गंदगी पर भारी" नारा भी लगाया। एरिया पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी की देखरेख में आयोजित इस स्वच्छ मशाल रैली में नारी शक्ति का बोलबाला भी देखने को मिला। स्वच्छ मशाल रैली सेक्टर 42 की महिला उषा शर्मा ने मशाल उठा कर शुरुआत की। जबकि सेक्टर 42 स्थित सनातन धर्म मंदिर की महिला संकीर्तन मंडली की अध्यक्ष नीलम शर्मा ने रैली में भाग लेने वाले सभी प्रतिभागियों को स्वच्छता शपथ दिलाई।   

एरिया पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने बताया कि चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम आयुक्त आनंदिता मित्रा के मार्गदर्शन और दिशानिर्देश अनुसार इस स्वच्छ मशाल रैली का आयोजन किया गया है। शहर को साफ सुथरा रखने और स्वच्छता में अग्रणी रखने की दिशा में मशाल रैली की शुरूआत की गई है।  उन्होंने आगे कहा कि इस दौरान उपस्थित लोगों को सफाई मित्र को कूड़ा अलग-अलग करके देने की शपथ भी ली गई है। शपथ में कहा गया कि हम सड़कों पर और पब्लिक प्लेस पर कूड़ा नहीं न तो कूड़ा गिराएंगे और न ही गंदगी फैलाएंगे। बल्कि अन्य को भी ऐसा करने से रोकेंगे। साथ ही साथ गिला सुखा कूड़ा अलग-अलग कर कर सफाई मित्र को देंगे।

 इस स्वच्छ मशाल रैली में सेक्टर 42 सी में मोहिंदर पाठक एचएस,  जगजीत सिंह सीएसआई, हरविंदर सिंह एसआई , आर डबल्यू प्रधान राज कुमार शर्मा पवन सिंगला , विनोद कौशल, ए डी राजपूत, उषा शर्मा,आर डी गोयल, मंजीत कौर, सुरेश बमेला  और स्थानीय निवासी उपस्थित थे।

Chitkara University Himachal Campus Bags A+ NAAC Accreditation

Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh has received an A+ rating from the esteemed National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), placing it in the top 5% of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in India to receive such a distinguished grade. With a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.42 on a 4-point scale, the university has earned this highly coveted recognition.

The University has been praised for its three major features by the Peer Team. They have infrastructure which is par excellent, and possess a green and eco-friendly campus. Government recognised incubation and vibrant startup ecosystem and technology transfer. On the occasion, Dr Ashok K Chitkara, Chancellor of Chitkara University said that it is the hard-work by our students, staff and faculty for years that resulted in securing this recognition. स्व घोषित वेब चैनल के नुमाइंदों द्वारा की जा रही ब्लैकमेलिंग के खिलाफ पीड़ित ने खोला मोर्चा: एस एस पी को शिकायत दे आरोपी के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की

Chandigarh, Mar.31, 2023:-समाज मे मौजूदा समय मे मीडिया में सोशल मीडिया का बोल बाला बढ़ा है। कुछ असभ्य और असामाजिक तत्वों द्वारा भी वेब पोर्टल और वेब चैनल बना लिए गए हैं। कुछ स्व-घोषित वेब चैनलों के नुमाइंदे मीडिया की धमकी देते हुए बिज़नेस हाऊसिस को डराते और धमकाते है और उन्हें ब्लैकमेल कर लाखों रुपए वसूल रहे है। ऐसे स्व-घोषित वेब चैनलों द्वारा की जा रहीअवैध वसूली, मनमानी और भ्रष्ट प्रथाओं की चंडीगढ़ स्थित अग्रणी लॉ फर्म- जस्ट लॉ कंसल्टेंट्स चंडीगढ़, कड़ी निंदा करता हैं। यह बात शुक्रवार को चंडीगढ़ में ऐसे ही एक स्व घोषित वेब चैनल के पत्रकार द्वारा की जा रही ब्लैकमेलिंग के खिलाफ जस्ट लॉ के संचालक एडवोकेट आर के सामयाल ने कही।

एडवोकेट आर के सामयाल ने बताया कि जीरकपुर के निवासी फतेह सिंह ने उनके पास एप्रोच किया और बताया कि कुछ बदमाश जो खुद को तहलका नाम के वेब चैनल का मालिक/साझेदार होने का ढोंग करते हैं, जबरन वसूली, ब्लैकमेलिंग और व्यवसायों और व्यक्तियों को मौद्रिक लाभ के लिए धमकाने जैसी अवैध गतिविधियों में शामिल हैं। इस स्व-घोषित चैनल के नुमाइंदे लोगों से पैसे ऐंठने के लिए अपनी स्थिति का फायदा उठा रहे हैं और मीडिया उद्योग की प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं।एक अप्रिय घटना की एक विस्तृत शिकायत फतेह सिंह (कॉपी अटैच्ड ) द्वारा पहले ही वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक- एस एस पी, एस.ए.एस नगर को इस उम्मीद के साथ भेजी जा चुकी है कि ऐसे अपराधियों के खिलाफ जल्द से जल्द कार्रवाई की जाए और उन्हें मीडिया की आड़ में चौथे स्तम्भ को बदनाम करने के लिए ठोस सजा दी जानी चाहिए।

   पीड़ित फतेह सिंह ने बताया कि वो ट्रेडिंग का व्यवसाय करते है। कुछ दिन पहले एक वेब न्यूज़ चैनल के व्यक्ति ने उन्हें चैनल का मालिक बताते हुए धक्का मुक्की की और उन्हें डराते धमकाते हुए और उनका अनिष्ट करने की धमकी देते हुए भारी पैसों की मांग की। वो 5-6 लोग थे, जो उन्हें जब्रह गाड़ी में धकेल काफी घंटों यूं ही सड़कों पर घुमाते रहे। बाद में उनजोने स्थानीय पुलिस में शिकायत दी। लेकिन कोई सुनवाई न होते देख उन्होंने जिला मोहाली के एस एस पी को इस बाबत शिकायत दर्ज करवा दी है। उन्होंने अपनी शिकायत में एस एस पी महोदय से आरोपियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

एडवोकेट आर के सामयाल ने कहा कि इन स्व घोषित वेब चैनलों द्वारा की जा रही ऐसी गतिविधियां न केवल व्यक्तियों और व्यवसायों को नुकसान पहुंचाती हैं बल्कि मीडिया उद्योग को भी बदनाम करती हैं, हम इन कार्रवाइयों की निंदा करते हैं और उन लोगों के साथ खड़े हैं जो ऐसे स्व-घोषित चैनलों के शिकार हुए हैं।हम नैतिक और जिम्मेदार पत्रकारिता में दृढ़ता से विश्वास करते हैं, और हम इन सिद्धांतों के खिलाफ जाने वाले किसी भी कार्य की निंदा करते हैं। हम जनता से आग्रह करते हैं कि ऐसी किसी भी गतिविधि की सूचना संबंधित अधिकारियों को दें। हम सभी मीडिया कंपनियों और हितधारकों से इस तरह की भ्रष्ट और अवैध गतिविधियों के खिलाफ लड़ाई में हाथ मिलाने का आह्वान करते हैं। एक साथ काम करके, हम यह सुनिश्चित कर सकते हैं कि मीडिया उद्योग अपनी सत्यनिष्ठा को बरकरार रखे। हम राज्य सरकार/प्रशासन से आग्रह करते हैं कि वे स्व-घोषित और नकली वेब चैनलों की अवैध प्रथाओं से निपटने के लिए कानून/विनियम लाएं।

वहीं जब इस बाबत इस कथित वेब चैनल के मालिक से बात करने का प्रयास किया गया, तो उन्होंने कॉल ही अटेंड की।

श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सेक्टर 46 में रामनवमी पर्व श्रद्धा और धूमधाम से मनाया गया

Chandigarh, Mar.30, 2023:-श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सेक्टर 46 बी चंडीगढ़ में रामनवमी पर्व और माता के नवरात्रि पर्व बड़ी श्रद्धा और धूमधाम से मनाया गया। मंदिर में माता रानी की चौकी, सुंदरकांड पाठ, श्री राम भजन संकीर्तन, कार्यक्रम हुआ।

आज गुरुवार मंदिर में प्रातः 9 हवन और उसके बाद 11 से 1 बजे तक दिव्य ज्योति जागृति संस्थान द्वारा भगवान श्री राम का जन्म उत्सव भजन आरती की गईमंदिर के प्रधान जितेंद्र भाटिया ने सभी को श्री राम पर्व की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दी और सभी के परिवारों की सुख समृद्धि की मंगल कामनाएं की।

मंदिर में बहुत से युवा श्रद्धालुओं ने तन मन से सेवा की। इन सभी नौजवानों का मंदिर कमेटी की ओर से धन्यवाद किया गया तथा उनके परिवारों की मंगल कामनाएं की।

दोपहर 1 बजे से मंदिर में भंडारा किया गया।

आम आदमी पार्टी का मोदी के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन

Chandigarh, Mar.30, 2023:-चंडीगढ़ आम आदमी ने कारों पर मोदी हटाओ देश बचाओ के  पोस्टर  लगा कर जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। इस से पहले आम आदमी पार्टी के पूर्व सह प्रभारी व पूर्व मेयर प्रदीप छाबड़ा चेयरमैन पंजाब लार्ज इंडस्ट्रीज डेवलोपमेन्ट बोर्ड ने एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की।और कहा कि समय आ गया है मोदी को हटाने का और देश को बचाने का।

आजादी की लड़ाई में हमारे शहीद हंसते-हंसते फांसी का फंदा चूम रहे थे। उनका सपना था कि जिस दिन हमारा देश आजाद होगा, अशिक्षा दूर होगी और भारत एक शिक्षित राष्ट्र बनेगा। देश के लोग इलाज के लिए नहीं भटकेंगे, नौजवानों को रोजगार मिलेगा, किसानों को फसल का दाम मिलेगा। मोदी के रहते यह सपना पूरा नहीं हो सकता।  

जब अंग्रेजों की हुकूमत थी, उस समय कोई पर्चा नहीं बांट सकता था, पेपर नहीं निकाल सकता था। भारत की आजादी के वीरों की आवाज को कुचलने के लिए उसी समय अंग्रेजों ने कानून बनाएं। आज फिर उस कानून का सहारा लेकर देश की आवाज को कुचला जा रहा।

-दिल्ली के अंदर "मोदी हटाओ, देश बचाओ" का पोस्टर लगा और हुकूमत थर्रा गई। अंग्रेजों के राज में भी कभी एक पोस्टर और एक पर्चे के लिए 138 एफआईआर नहीं हुई थी।

 - आज 30 मार्च को देश के कोने-कोने में "मोदी हटाओ, देश बचाओ" का पोस्टर लगाएंगे। देखते हैं कि तुम्हारी एफआईआर, पुलिस और जेल में कितनी ताकत है। जब चप्पे-चप्पे पर "मोदी हटाओ, देश बचाओ" के पोस्टर लगेंगे, तुम्हारी जेलें भर जाएगी। मगर मां भारती को बचाने के लिए सीना और हाथ कम नहीं होंगे।

छाबड़ा ने कहा कि आज देश के संविधान की धज्जियां उड़ाई जा रही है, विपक्ष की आवाज को कुचलने के लिए फर्जी मुकदमों में फंसाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।

 -देश के किसानों के ऊपर जबरदस्ती तीन काले कानून लगाए गए, किसानों ने एक साल आंदोलन किया। सरकार ने उनसे वादा किया कि देश में न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) को कानून का दर्जा देंगे, मगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ।

-  देश के छात्रों की आवाज को देशद्रोही-आतंकवादी कहकर कुचला जा रहा है। 

 छाबड़ा ने आगे कहा कि देश में मजदूर दयनीय जिंदगी जीने को मजबूर हैं। भगत सिंह और बटुकेश्वर दत्त ने असेंबली में बम इसलिए फेंका था कि मजदूरों के खिलाफ सेफ्टी बिल लाया जा रहा था। आज मजदूरों के सारे कानून और अधिकारों को खत्म कर केवल चार कानून में समेट दिया है।

-  जहां-जहां प्रधानमंत्री मोदी गए, वहां-वहां अडानी का साम्राज्य विकसित करते रहे। 

जब तक देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी रहेंगे, क्या मोदी जी अडानी की जांच करा सकते हैं? छाबड़ा ने कहा-  स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की आत्मा हमें भी ताकत दे कि हम इस तानाशाही सरकार से लड़ सके और देश की विरासत को बचाने में कामयाब हो।

रामनवमी के पावन पर्व के उपलक्ष्य में श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी की ओर से वीरवार को सेक्टर 21 के कम्युनिटी सेंटर में चावल, मटर पनीर, चने, चपाती, और हलवा प्रसाद का लंगर लगाया गया। इस अवसर पर चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम के मेयर अनूप गुप्ता, चंडीगढ़ भाजपा प्रेसिडेंट अरुण सूद, पूर्व प्रेसिडेंट संजय टंडन, आर एस एस के चार जिलों के संघ चालक रमाकांत भारद्वाज और मंडल प्रधान सुमिता कोहली सहित श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी के संचालक अरुण अग्रवाल, आई एस बंसल व कार्यकर्ता भी उपस्थित थे । वहीं इस अवसर कमेटी के पदाधिकारियों और सदस्यों द्वारा प्रभु श्रीराम की मूर्ति पर पुष्प माला अर्पण कर पूजा अर्चना की गई।  लँगर स्थल पर चल रहे भजन "भये प्रगट कृपाला दीन दयाला स्तुति" और अन्य भजनों से वातावरण पूर्णत: राममय हो रखा था।

   श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी के संचालक अरुण अग्रवाल ने कहा कि चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी के अवसर पर प्रभु श्री रामचंद्र के प्रकट उत्सव को हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया है। लोगों में लंगर बांटने से पूर्व भगवान श्री राम की आरती उतारी गई, पूजा अर्चना की गई। तत्पश्चात प्रभु भक्तों में लंगर बांटा गया। उन्होंने बताया कि कमेटी की तरफ से प्रत्येक शनिवार नामदेव भवन के आगे लंगर लगाया जाता है। हालांकि पहले ये हर महीने के दूसरे शनिवार को ही लगाया जाता था, लेकिन जरूरतमंद और राहगीरों की सुविधा हेतु अब यह हर शनिवार लगाया जा रहा है। जब तक प्रभु की असीम अनुकंपा बनी रहेगी, भंडारा जारी रहेगा।

73-Year-Old Man Suffering from Prostate Cancer Successfully Treated via Advanced Robot-Aided Surgery at Fortis Mohali

A 73-year-old diabetic and hypertensive man was undergoing a challenging time due to urinary incontinence, weak urine stream and nocturia (condition when one wakes up during the night to urinate). The Patient had visited several hospitals in the past and was undergoing treatment for benign prostatic disease. However, after his health condition failed to improve, he approached Dr Rohit Dadhwal, Consultant, Department of Urology, Andrology and Robotic Surgery, Fortis Hospital Mohali, in February this year.

A prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test showed that the patient's serum levels were elevated. Further medical evaluation revealed that the patient had localized prostate cancer (left lobe) without any other organ or site involvement. To remove the tumour, Dr Dadhwal and his team performed Robot-assisted Radical Prostatectomy (RARP) through the world's most advanced 4th Generation Robot – Da Vinci Xi. Robot-assisted Radical Prostatectomy is considered as the gold standard treatment in such cases.

Discussing the case, Dr Dadhwal, said, that the prostate is the male reproductive gland and sometimes gets enlarged owing to hormonal changes in elderly men. These enlargements can be cancerous in nature sometimes. However, the gland can be removed and the cancer can be cured if the diseases is diagnosed early. Robot-aided Surgery is the latest form of minimal invasive surgery and provides a 3D view of the operative field via a special camera inserted into the body of the patient. Parts of the body which are difficult to reach with the human hand can be accessed through robot-assisted arms that can rotate 360 degrees.

The Patient was able to walk on the next day of the surgery and his histopathology report showed complete removal of the tumour, besides the PSA had come down. He has recovered fully and leading a normal life today.

Government College of Education Sector 20 D participated in various sports events at inter-college games organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh. The games were not only a platform for the students to showcase their sporting talents but also brought them together in the spirit of sportsmanship.

The College Participated and grabbed positions in games of Yoga, kho-kho, Basketball, volleyball, Table-tennis and Badminton under the mentorship of Dr. Neelam Paul.

 The college won overall winner's trophy in boys section and overall runner's up in girls section  in C division PU inter college competitions 2022-23.Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal of the college applauded the achievement of sportspersons of the college.

Private Schools’ Recognition Issue Resolved: 2 Years Exemption and 25% Discount for the First Floor Allowed

The representatives of the private school unions had successful talks with the Haryana government regarding the recognition of the schools. The problem of annual recognition has been resolved. The schools have got two years' relief. Soon the state government will issue a notification on this decision. The Khattar government has made a big announcement to provide a 25% discount on land to schools having two-storey buildings. Also, if a school is not able to fulfill the rules of the land where it is running, it can shift the school according to the old rules (2009) by filling a certain bond with the government. Giving special favour to small schools, CM ML Khattar has talked about providing government land at cheap rates. He also promised to provide financial assistance to these schools.

 

The government is planning to provide relief on many other points also. This information was given by Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, National President of the National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) and State President of the Federation of Private Schools Welfare Association (FPSWA), during a press conference held in Panchkula.

 

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that representatives of various education-related unions, including the NISA and FPSWA, called on the Education Minister's residence late on Monday evening regarding the problems of private schools. A meeting was held with Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar and Joint Director Anshaj Singh. Later, they apprised CM Manohar Lal Khattar about the 6-point problems of private schools. After a thorough discussion, the CM agreed to resolve several issues.

 

Dr. Sharma informed the media that representatives of private school unions told CM  Khattar that there are thousands of temporary and approved schools in the state which are not able to fulfill the land norms. In such a situation, the government should allow them to shift in the vacant land. The CM accepted this demand after discussing the technical side of the issue and promised that soon the government will issue a notification in this regard. Dr. Sharma said that this has brought a lot of relief to the recognized private schools.

 

Federation's deputy head Satbir Patel said that the government has accepted that private school education is in the interest of the National Education Policy 2020. Therefore, the government is preparing a plan to provide HUDA's land to the schools at low rates. This step will encourage better schooling and education.

 

Dr. Sharma handed over a 6-point charter of demands to the CM, stating that there were thousands of temporary and approved schools in the state which are unable to fulfill the land norms currently. In such a situation, the government should allow them to shift in the vacant land. There are two types of land in the name of all the schools. Primary or middle school classes are running in one of these. In such a situation, approval should be given for classes from 10th to 12th on another land. Recognition of two shifts should also be given to private schools. Government schools of the Haryana Government are already working on a two-shift system.

 

He added that some time ago, schools with two floors used to get a 25% discount for the first floor. We want the government to provide a 25% discount to the schools which have a first floor. Schools up to class 8, which are unable to meet the space conditions and are running in a room, should be recognized under the RTE Act.

 

Whether the school is from a village or a city, separate criteria have been made for both areas. The previous government had the same criteria for both places. In today's era, there is not much difference between rural and urban areas. Villages are close to towns. The cost of land in both areas is also equal. So, the standards for the schools should also be equal. The schools which provided their services before the implementation of RTE should be considered as existing schools.

 

People who attended the meeting with the Education Minister included Satbir Patel, Ramphal, Rammehar, Vijay Tatoli, and Mamchand. The union leaders expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar, Director Joint Anshaj Singh, and other officials for taking the decision in the schools' interest.

चंडीगढ़ के वार्ड नंबर 34 में विकास की बहार, इलाके के पार्कों की बदलेगी नुहार

Chandigarh, Mar.28, 2023:-सेक्टर 45 डी में मकान नंबर 3353 के सामने वाले पार्क में झूले व ओपन एयर जिम की मुरम्मत और रंग रोगन करने के कार्य का शुभ आरम्भ किया गया। इस मौके पर एरिया पार्षद गुरप्रीत सिंह गाबी और नगर निगम के एसडीओ किरनदीप की उपस्थिति में क्षेत्र की महिलाओं की और से इस कार्य का शुभारम्भ करवाया गया। 

एरिया पार्षद गुरप्रीत सिंह गाबी ने कहा कि उनके वार्ड के सभी पार्कों के झूलो की मुरम्मत कार्यों समेत रंग रोगन के कार्य करवाए जा रहे है। इस से उनके वार्ड के बच्चो को सुरक्षा के साथ फ़िज़िकल एक्टिविटी करने का अवसर प्राप्त होगा व पार्क की ख़ूबसूरती भी बढ़ जायेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि कुल 15 लाख के टेंडर के साथ वार्ड में यह कार्य शुरू किए जा रहे है। आज यहां सेक्टर 45 डी में शुरू करवाए जा रहे इस कर्यों को लेकर क्षेत्र वासियों ने एरिया पार्षद गुरप्रीत सिंह गाबी का धन्यवाद किया और कहा कि उनके कार्यकाल से पहले वार्ड के पार्कों का बहुत ही बुरा हाल था और पार्कों में बच्चों खेलने से कतराते थे और पार्कों की खस्ताहालत के कारण बजुर्ग लोग भी वह जाने से गुरेज करदे थे। क्षेत्र वासियों ने कहा कि अब उन्हें अपने वार्ड के विकास के किसी भी कार्य के लिए कहना नहीं पड़ता, उनका पार्षद ख़ुद ही वार्ड का मुआयना कर वह जरूरी विकास के सभी कार्यों को अंजाम दे रहे है, जो बधाई के पात्र है। पार्षद गुरप्रीत गाबी ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ में विकास के कार्यों में उनका वार्ड शहर का एक नंबर बनकर उभरेगा। आज शुरू किये गए कार्य के शुभारम्भ के मौके पर सेक्टर 45 से बलदेव कौर, गीता चड्ढा, किरण कुमारी, रजनीं जैन, जगत माता, चंदर,सुरेश कुमार, लालचंद, एचके सैनी, करनैल सिंह, मनमोहन आशु, नितिन राय चौहान (डैनी), पवन बख्शी, दिलबाग, सुरेश केले, बलजीत सिंह, देविंदर, तरुण सुनेजा व शिवम् एवं सेक्टर 45  के अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति मोजूद थे।
