Chandigarh 12th January: - Shaheed Udham Singh College of Research and Technology today celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda ji. Dr H.S ROSE Director and Principal of SUSCRT released a newsletter entitled "National Youth Day".
The event focused on competitive and youth cultural and sports achievements of the students. Dr H.S ROSE Director and Principal of SUSCRT in his address said that this function is organized to inspire youth for nation building. The motto of the Day is to enhance talents and creativity beside educational grades. He said that Vivekananda ji after he became a "sannyasin of high intellect, action, and devotion" in 1886 had a deep desire to spread the message of "divine unity of existence and unity in diversity' throughout the country. The function also focused on youth to nurture the culture of leadership and patriotism through youth oriented programmes.
Dr H.S ROSE appealed students to follow Swami Vivekananda ji instinct and make success in the chosen field. It is expected that youth will get inspiration from the ideals of this great philosopher, who said," you cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself". How sound it is for the youth in the existing circumstances/situations/environment..
