Chandigarh 05th October:- Maharishi Dayanand Public School Daria, Chandigarh in Collaboration with Environment Department, Chandigarh Administration, organised a folk dance, on occasion of Wild Life Week. The students conveyed that the Indian culture is very rich. Although there is diversity in their living styles yet unity prevails around. The Indians are lovers of good environment.
Through the medium of dance performance students expressed that they loved the whole creation of Almighty Creator. The rivers should be clean since they revere as divine mothers. By growing plants and trees, they wish to enrich the lives of animals and birds also.
Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar said that the objective behind organizing the programme was to create awareness about the wild life and eco- friendliness.
