Mohali 10th February:- A State level Quiz competition was organized by DGSE and Education Department at Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Education Minister, Punjab graced the occasion with his being presence as the Chief Guest. Pardeep Kumar Aggarwal, DGSE was the guest of honor. Earlier in the competition was held at District level in which one student each of class 9th and 10th participated. The 22 teams who secured first position in their respective districts took part in the state level quiz competition. Questions from Science, Math and Social Studies were asked in the competition. Students of District Ludhiana stood first in the competition where as District Amritsar team got the second position and District Barnala team bagged third position. At the conclusion of programme Dr. Cheema distributed prizes and prize money to the winners. The function was concluded with special thanks to Mrs. Kavita, Principal of Manav Mangal Smart School. Prominent among wothers who were present at the occasion Mewa Singh Sidhu, DEO (SS), Dr. Ginni Duggal, Deputy State Project Director, Sanjay Sardana, Director, Manav Mangal Smart School.
