Chandigarh 22nd December:- The New Public school has always been encouraging new ideas and innovations in the field of education. Being very receptive we always welcome and adopt new methodologies of teaching and keep inviting educationists and budding teachers from different countries. The School has a long association with St. Norbert College USA for past many years. This year Ms. Alexandra joined schoolunder Global Student Teaching Program Partnership for two months. The Staff ensured her inclusion in academic and cultural programmes.

The Staff and students have been very supportive of Ms. Alex's efforts to introduce new methods of teaching. They made her teaching learning experience wonderful, memorable and fruitful. Such visits give opportunity for sharing experiences in progressive teaching ideas to both the guest faculty and the teachers of the school. A warm farewell was organized in the school on 22ndDecember to make the moment very joyful and memorable in which the students of primary classes presented a cultural programme showing the glimpses of Indian culture for the most affectionate guest. The students of Kindergarten displayed different celebrations of a Punjabi Wedding like 'Jaago', 'Sangeet' in which 'Giddha' and 'Bhangra' were presented with fun and frolic. With this, the juniors also conveyed a beautiful social message against 'Dowry System'. The Gujarati Dance was another item in sequence which was enjoyed by one and all. We look forward to such fruitful programmes and it's our privilege that one more student from St. Norbert will be joining us in future.
