Shivangi Sharma clinch the post of president in student council Election at MCM

Chandigarh, 04^th September: --- Ms. Shivangi Sharma declares President, in the student council elections in MCM DAV College for women today. Whereas Maninder Kaur declares vice president unopposed. Ms. Antpreet Kaur and Ms. Navreen were elcted as the Joint Secretary and Secretary. A huge fervour and participation in the student council elections was witnessed this time with an overwhelming number of students turning out to cast their vote

 Ms. Shivangi Sharma was all smiles as she was honoured for clinching the post of the student council president during a glittering Vijay Tilak ceremony in MCM DAV College for women today. Harbhajan Mann, Sarabjeet Cheema and the leading cast of upcoming movie Haani honoured the winners.

The presence of celebrities from Punjabi Cinema enlivened the zealous spirit and celebrations. The newly elected members vowed to work for the betterment of facilities in the campus. They pledged to promote unity and oneness amongst all.

The Principal of the college,Dr. Puneet Bedi congratulated the winners and said that such opportunities are a learning ground for young leaders and imperative to the existence of democracy
