SAS NAGAR 06th June,2013:-Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar has said that Nayagaon Police Station, Police succeeded in tracing the case of rape and has nabbed the accused.
One Balwinder Singh S/o Ram Iqbal Singh r/o 262 gobind Nagar, reported in the Police station Nayagaon that on 28.5.13 after having dinner he went to
bed alongwith his family as usual. He got up around 1.30 am.for
urinating and found that his daughter Anushka who is studying in class
Ist was not on the bed, he woke up his wife usha rani and searched for
their daughter then around 3.30 am. his daughter returned to the house.
She told that some one lifted her and took her out and by tying the
cloth on the face raped her. She complained having heavy pain in stomach.
On the statement of the complainant Balwinder singh a case FIR No.
55 dated 29.5.13 u/s 363,365,376 IPC, 4,6 Prevention of sexual offence
against children Act, 2012 PS Nayagaon has been registered against
unknown person. The girl Anushka is hardly 7 year old, it being a such
a henious act the matter got looked into through Shri Rajinder Singh
Sohal, DSP/ CITY-1 AND Inspector Shinder Pal Singh, SHO PS Nayagaon
thoroughly. After conducting the investigation on different angles/
theories the accused Sanjiv S/o Shri Ram cast Dhobi aged about 21
years , 7th class pass r/o 3556 sector 15D, Chandigarh and native of
village Lala purva PS Kandelganj distt. Gonda UP has been arrested in
the case and recovered the mobile phones which he lifted from the
house of the complainant while lifting the girl. The accused totally
without any work ,an addict and bachelor. His father is earning his
livelyhood by pressing the clothes of the people. Accused broken the
jali of the door and opened the door and lifted the sleeping girl and
lifted the mobile phones and took her half kilometer away from the
house to a secluded place and raped her by tying the cloth on the face
of girl and thereafter left the girl near her house and left. Accused
will be produced in the court. Further investigation is being
carried out.
