Mohali, Apr.24, 2026:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, organized a magnificent farewell party, "Hasta La Vista 2026," for the outgoing students of its graduate and post-graduate courses. The event saw students lighting up the stage with vibrant performances of Bhangra, Gidha, and Western dance. To add to the excitement, various fun games and a ‘Memory Lane’ video were presented, showcasing the nostalgic moments spent by students at the college. Furthermore, students revisited their college days through specially prepared skits dedicated to their teachers.
On this occasion, Sarpanches of villages adopted under the 'Unnat Bharat Abhiyan' were specially honored. The institution expressed heartfelt gratitude for their cooperation in social welfare activities. The highlight of the event was the title ceremony. In the Post-Graduate (PG) category, Loveleen Kaur was crowned Miss Gian Jyoti PG, while Charles won the Mr. Gian Jyoti PG title. Vanshika Soni was chosen as Miss Elegant, Manpreet Singh as Mr. Handsome, and the consolation prize was awarded to Abigail. In the Under-Graduate (UG) category, Siddharth was declared Mr. GJMT, while Ishani was crowned Miss Gian Jyoti. Gargi won the Miss Elegant title, Keshav was named Mr. Handsome, and Mannat received the consolation prize.
Congratulating the students, Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, said, "Our goal is not just to provide degrees but to create good human beings and capable leaders. I am confident that wherever our students go in the world, they will bring laurels to the institution."
Campus Director Dr. Aneet Bedi remarked that today marks an important milestone in the students' lives. She encouraged them to remain determined and clear about their goals, noting that the discipline and confidence gained here would help them navigate life’s challenges. The program concluded with a festive lunch and a DJ session.
