Chandigarh, May 09, 2024:-Chandigarh BJP Lok Sabha nominee, Sanjay Tandon, will lead a massive roadshow on Friday before filing his nomination papers at the deputy commissioner's office, Sector 17. The roadshow will kick off at 9 am from the Exhibition Ground in Sector 34 and wind through various sectors in the city before culminating at Sector 17, Chandigarh. The nomination day is auspicious and has been chosen to coincide with Akshya Tritya and Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti.
Before beginning the roadshow, Tandon, along with his family members, senior party leaders and party activists, will perform a havan at "Kamlam", the Chandigarh BJP office in Sector 33.
A cultural programme by troupes from Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttarakhand is also planned before the procession starts. After filing the nomination papers, BJP national president JP Nadda and Tandon will address a public meeting in Sector 27 Ramlila ground. Meanwhile, Tandon has extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti on Friday.
Tandon said, "Parshuram Jayanti holds great significance among Hindus as this day we celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram. The sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu symbolizes righteousness, valor, and the triumph of good over evil. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding moral values and righteousness in our lives."
He also encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of these occasions by spreading love, kindness, and generosity towards one another.
