Chandigarh, May 12, 2024:-
Sanjay Tandon, the BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, launched an attack against the AAP-Congress alliance, labeling it a self-serving unholy bond. Addressing massive gatherings at two separate venues in Chandigarh, Dhanas and Sector 56, Tandon drew attention to the opportunistic politics displayed by both parties. Sanjay Gondon said that their alliance lacks authenticity and crumbles outside Chandigarh's confines, where incessant mudslinging is evident between the two selfish political parties.
Tandon highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken by the Modi government, contrasting them with the inefficiencies of past regimes. He reiterated the Modi government's commitment to eliminating middlemen and ensuring direct benefit to beneficiaries, citing examples such as the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana and the 'PM Vishwakarma Yojana,' aimed at promoting traditional skills among artisans.
Furthermore, Tandon emphasized the government's comprehensive approach to welfare, encompassing schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which prioritize housing and healthcare respectively for the underprivileged.
Reflecting on BJP's contributions to Chandigarh's development, Tandon spoke about initiatives to empower street vendors and provide essential aid to the needy during the pandemic. He pledged to address housing issues, promising ownership rights for residents of EWS houses and permanent residences for those in slums, underscoring the BJP's commitment to inclusive governance.
Tandon concluded by reaffirming his dedication to serving Chandigarh's populace, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed through initiatives like the Vishwakarma Yojana tailored to uplift various segments of society.
