Indus Public School, Badala Road has been honored by the State Governor Banwari Lal Purohit for its excellent contribution in the field of education. This honor has been given by Colonel (Retd.) SPS Cheema, Director of Indus School, for the capable and needy children of the school and for preparing excellent officers through the Defence Academy. This honor was received by school principal Parampreet Kaur Cheema and Colonel Cheema during a function organized in Chandigarh.
On receiving this honour, Colonel Cheema while sharing his views said that education is such a field through which the best citizens of the country are prepared. His endeavor is always to identify the talents among the students and develop them in studies, sports and other activities. This is why our students are winning medals in sports at the district, state level and national level; on the other hand, the school is continuously winning awards in other activities too. Apart from this, our students also keep securing first positions in studies in Kharar district. School Principal Parampreet Kaur Cheema said that receiving this honor has increased her morale. With this they will be able to achieve better results in future.
