Chandigarh, Mar.30, 2024:-On the commemoration of the centenary anniversary of 'The Stragglers of Asia Cricket Club', one of the oldest cricket clubs in Asia, established in the year 1925 by the then Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala, this London-based club is visiting India as part of the 'Centenary Cricket Tour of India'. Players of this vintage club will play exhibition matches with local cricketers in Delhi, Chandigarh and Patiala. Aligned with the same, club's veteran member Shiv Dev Dutt met UT Cricket Association President Sanjay Tandon and proposed to play the match with UTCA. Dutt appraised Sanjay Tandon about various aspects of the century-old heritage of the club. Tandon also agreed to the proposal and expressed his happiness to be a part of the club's historic tour to be held in March next year. President in the presence of senior UTCA member Subhash Mahajan, honored Dutt by giving him a memento in the form of a UTCA's cap.
