Chandigarh, Mar.16, 2024:-The star cast of the Punjabi movie "Majnu" visited Desh Bhagat University. The movie's lead actor Preet Bath, actress Kiran Shergill, singer Simran Bharadwaj, and the renowned director of "Surgical Strike," Sujjad Iqbal Khan, were present.
Dr. Virinder Singh, the Chancellor's Advisor, and Dr. Surjeet Kaur Pathéja, the Media Director, welcomed the team by presenting them with plants. Dr. Virinder Singh and Dr. Surjeet Kaur Pathéja honored the movie team with trophies, shawls, and Phulkari.
Preet entertained the audience of students and faculty with his humorous style. He mentioned that this is a family-oriented music-centric film. While Punjabi cinema often focuses on comedy-action, this movie's theme is romantic. Actress Kiran Shergill explained that it portrays the journey of love. Singer Simran mesmerized the audience by singing songs from "Laung Laachi" and "Majnu." It's worth mentioning that the film is set to release on March 22nd. The "Majnu" team also distributed gift hampers to the attending students. Dr. Jyoti Sharma from Desh Bhagat Radio's Apki awaz, RJ Trisha, and RJ Chhavi entertained & ensured everyone had a great time.
