Hailing from the vibrant and educational hub, Chandigarh, Ishita was introduced to Poker by a friend from the chess community. Drawing parallels from both the skill sports, Ishita quickly found herself immersed in the intricacies of poker, a meticulous blend of skill and strategy. Since then, she has never looked back. Ishita through her exemplary display of Poker skills and live streaming has become a Poker stalwart to look out for and is playing an instrumental role for paving the way for women Poker players in India.
Talking about her win in National Poker Series India 2024, Ishita Arora shared that when you talk about Poker, people often link the sport being pursued by only the male players. But participation by more and more female players is changing the perception, she is elated to be a part of this journey.
