Addressing the press conference, Brahmin Khap Haryana State President Ashok Sharma made it clear that whichever political party will give more representation to the Brahmin community in the Lok Sabha election, would be given complete support by the community.

He also said that it would review the 2019 elections to figure out how many seats were given to the Brahmin community by the political parties including the Congress, BJP, INLD, JJP and Aam Aadmi Party and which political party nominated members of the Brahmin community to the Rajya Sabha.

Referring to the statement given by former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda on extending support to the Brahmin community, he further added that those who were shown as present to join the party, was the individual political decision and not the decision of the entire community.

He stressed the need for constituting Brahmin Regiment, and the candidates selected under EPBG must be made to join at the earliest. He added that Brahmins would support those who follow Sanatani tenets and patriotism.

Elaborating further on the EWS, he added that it must be segregated in two separate groups categorised as Group A and Group B and Brahmin community be kept in Group A under the arrangement. He said that instead of announcing that deputy chief minister would be from the Brahmin community, former CM Bhupendra Hooda Brahmin should announce that Congress will name the Chief Minister from the Brahmin community.

Sushil Gautam Sirsi, spokesperson Brahmin Khap Haryana, Prayag Raj Sarpanch and Patron Brahmin Sabha, Pundri and Roshan Lal Sharma, Bastara General Secretary district Brahmin Sabha Karnal were present during the press conference.

He said that how can we believe the words of Bhupender Hooda, because his statement is being refuted by the big leaders of his own party. This is an attempt to mislead the Brahmin community, but this time the Brahmins will be united and will not be misled by anyone.

In the end he appealed to all political parties to reveal how much representation they want to give to Brahmins.
