Peace Zone Registers One Wicket thrilling Win over Bird Zone Terrace Zone Defeated Leisure Zone in a one-Sided Affair

Chandigarh, Sept.01, 2023:- Peace Zone registered a thrilling one-wicket win over Bird Zone in the UTCA Under 19 One Day Tournament being played at the Chandigarh Institute of Cricket, Kaimbala on Friday. Batting first, Bird Zone scored 212/7 runs in the stipulated fifty overs with the fine contribution from opener Balraj Singh's 63 runs. Captain Ishaan Gaba added 32 runs. In reply, the tail-ender batter Peace Zone snatched the game by smashing a boundary in the last moments of the match. The team scored 214/9 runs wherein Gyan (52) and Tejveer (34) were the top contributors.

In the second match of the day, Terrace Zone registered a seven-wicket win over Laser Zone in a one sided game. The Leisure zone succumbed to 133 against  the lethal bowling attack of opposition skipper Nishank Birla (5/22). Aryan (36) was the top scorer. In reply, Terrace Zone surpassed the given target in the 21st over by losing three wickets with the help of unbeaten Adhiraj (42).
