Mayor Unfurls the National Flag at MC Building

Chandigarh Jan.27, 2022:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has organized a colorful function to commemorate the Republic Day in MCC building, Sector 17, here today. Smt. Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor of Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

While addressing a limited gathering on the occasion after unfurling the National Flag, the Mayor said that Chandigarh is a beautiful city and it is our prime duty to maintain its beauty. She said that being a Smart City, Chandigarh needs to maintain its cleanliness, all basic amenities to the citizens and latest technology and infrastructure etc.

Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor, Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Dalip Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor and Anup Gupta, Deputy Mayor awarded best services rendered towards social service to NGOs and individuals, commendation certificates to Municipal Corporation officials through their respective Head of Departments including Additional Commissioner, Joint Commissioner and Chief Engineer.
