Chandigarh Dec. 10, 2021:- BJP Mahila Morcha National President Vanathi Srinivas will be in town on Saturday for seeking votes in favour of BJP in view of the upcoming Chandigarh MC Election scheduled for December 24.
Party spokesperson Kailash Chand Jain said that this is the first Chandigarh visit of Srinivasan. She represents Coimbatore constituency in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly had defeated South Indian superstar Kamal Hassan in a close contest.
Former Mayor Poonam Sharma has been assigned as the convener for his program. He said she would be campaigning in support of Dilip Sharma candidate from Ward No. 3, Manoj Sonkar from Ward No. 7, Jaswinder Kaur from Ward No. 28, Vijay Rana from Ward No. 25 and Devesh Moudgil from ward no 21 along with seeking blessings at Ayyappa temple, Sector-47 and Karthik temple, Sector-31.
