The Journey from Kaatelal & Sons to Kaatelal & Daughters Will Always Be Remembered: Kaatelal & Sons Says Goodbye

Chandigarh August 26, 2021:- Kaatelal & Sons is set to bid adieu to its fans and viewers after a successful and inspiring journey on Sony SAB. Kaatelal & Sons continued to encourage its viewers with a compelling storyline which taught everyone to live their dreams and highlighted the fact that dreams have no gender. The story narrates the journey of the two sisters, Garima and Susheela, who fight against patriarchal traditions to run the family's ancestral salon, Kaatelal & Sons and debunk all stereotypes associated with gender roles. Featuring Ashok Lokhande (Dharampal), Megha Chakraborty (Garima) and Jiya Shankar (Susheela) in the lead roles, the show has inspired many across the country to take a stand for them and follow their dreams.

Expressing his feeling on bidding goodbye to the show, Ashok Lokhande said that Kaatelal & Sons is really close to his heart, especially the character of Dharampal. With a heavy heart, he is saying goodbye to this character and show. He has loved playing this character and he is extremely happy that our show continued to stand on its promise of delivering extraordinary content and providing unlimited entertainment for the viewers. He is overwhelmed with the love and support our audience continued to shower us with as they did on the very first day of the show. Our aim was always to inspire with our episodes and the show is now coming to an end on a positive note. He doesn't think there can be a better way to do this. Basically, the story of Kaatelal & Sons has completed a full circle of life.

Talking about the experience of being a part of the show and reminiscing the relationship she formed with her co-stars, Megha Chakraborty said that her experience with the show has been amazing and she learnt a lot in this journey. She thinks she has grown beautifully with this character, and Garima will always live within her. The character, Garima, was beautifully curated, keeping today's audience in mind and she has thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Garima is one of her favourite characters that she has essayed till date. Making this journey even more beautiful were her co-stars who have now become a family. We have continued to put our best foot forward and have learnt a lot from each other.  It really delights her to know that we have inspired girls to step up for their dreams and live it through. She is now bidding adieu to this show with tons of memories in her heart and she thanks all her viewers for the continued love and support they have given us. Our production house Contiloe pictures has always treated us all like a big tightly knitted family.

Jiya Shankar talking about what all she will miss on the set and expressing her gratitude towards fans and viewers, said that she doesn't even know where to begin as she has so many memories in her heart. She'd miss having fun with the entire cast in between the shots, various pranks that we played on one another and mostly she'll miss the entire vibe of the set which was always very energetic and loving. However, now that she will no longer be playing Susheela, she is taking a lot of beautiful memories and learning forward. The show has a special place in her heart, and she will certainly miss every moment spent here.She will also miss coming to the sets and getting into Susheela's dabangg and dhaakad look. Her fans and viewers have really loved her character and acknowledged her character throughout this journey of Kaatelal & Sons. It is going to be difficult for her to part ways with some of the best people she has met on the sets of Kaatelal & Sons, Also, this journey, so far, has been possible only because of all our amazing fans who have always adored us and showered us with unconditional love.
