Chandigarh August 25, 2021:- A delegation of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee including Congress councilors led by Chandigarh Congress President Subhash Chawla, Leader of opposition Devinder singh Babla, Ex Deputy Mayor & Chief spokesperson H S Lucky, Ex Senior Deputy Mayor Bhupinder badheri, Councilors Gurbax Rawat, satish kainth, sheela phool singh and Ravinder kaur gujral met the new Municipal commissioner Anindita Mitra today in her office and congratulated her on her new appointment.
The Congress leaders apprised her of the problems of the city and requested her to solve them at the earliest. Devinder Babla assured her of full cooperation of the Congress councillors and expected that the pending works in Chandigarh will be done on priority.
The new commissioner assured the Congress delegation of her full commitment towards the development of the city. Subhash Chawla president chandigarh congress said that the party will be taking up matters related to chandigarh residents on a regular basis.
