Chandigarh Dec. 29, 2020:- Punjab State Govt. announced the name of Dr. Satish Kumar Verma for "Shiromani Natak-kaar" award for the year 2019. Now a day's multi talented personality Dr. Satish Kumar Verma is serving at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh as Professor Emeritus. He will be awarded a merit certificate and cash prize of Rs. five lakh by the Government of Punjab. Dr. Satish Kumar Verma is continuously working in the field of drama, theatre, writing, translation, editing, critics, history, radio, television, cinema, art, and research. Many writers have written books on his personality and research scholars have completed research work on his achievements and contribution.
On this auspicious occasion, Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor and Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor Desh Bhagat University congratulated Dr. Verma and said that it is a great pleasure for everyone at DBU. It has always been our effort to have versatile personalities like Dr. Satish Kumar Verma on our board for advanced and real life learning of students.
