Chandigarh 18th Mar, 2020:- Young singer and choreographer Manik Bhateja, who grew up in Delhi, visited City Beautiful to promote his new Punjabi single track – 'Dream', released by PTC. Manik has worked with renowned artists such as Honey Singh, Raftaar, Bohemia, Alphaaz and Baadshah. Earlier, he has given few songs like Gaadi Slow, Morni Banke (mashup) and Bomb Squad etc.
At a press conference held at Chandigarh Press Club, Manik said that he belongs to a non-filmy and non-musical family, but has got a lot of support from his family, due to which he has reached this level today.
During the interaction, Manik said that the song 'Dream' was just a hookline for him, which later turned out as a song. He said that the song is produced by Robin Dhawan and it has been shot at beautiful locations in Delhi. The song is a reflection of my thoughts.
Comparing Bollywood with the international cinema, he said that Indian songs are equally appreciated by the people in abroad. Mithun and Raj Kapoor have a great following in West Asia, while Amitabh Bachchan is liked in Egypt, Shah Rukh Khan in Europe and Aamir Khan in China.
He said that some of his projects were still in pipeline, which include few tracks in Hindi and Punjabi.
