Chandigarh 21st Feb:-महाशिवरात्रि के पावन अवसर पर आज शहर भर के मंदिरों में भक्तों का तांता लग रहा। सवेरे से ही मंदिरों में शिव भक्तों को अपने आराधय देव भगवान् शिव की पूजा अर्चना के लिए कतारों में लगे देखा गया । सैक्टर 28 स्थित शिव खेड़ा मंदिर में महाशिवरात्रि पर्व के पावन अवसर पर भगवान शिव की पूजा अर्चना करने के लोगों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ रखी थी। शिव भक्तों को शिवलिंग पर फल फूल और दूध अर्पण कर पूजा अर्चना कर सर्वजन की मंगल कामना करते देखा गया। वहीँ भक्तों के लिए मंदिर कमेटी की ओर से फल और दूध का प्रसाद भी वितरित किया गया।मंदिर के कोषाध्यक्ष देशराज बंसल ने मंदिर प्रथम रुद्राभिषेक, पंचामृत से करवाया।
मंदिर के प्रवक्ता व मुख्य पुजारी ईश्वर चंद्र शास्त्री ने बताया कि शिव खेड़ा मंदिर शहर का सबसे अधिक पुजनीय मंदिर है। लोगों के मन मे शिव खेड़ा के प्रति असीम श्रद्धा और विश्वास है। वहीं मंदिर के दुसरे पुजारी सुभाष चंद शर्मा ने बताया कि वह सुबह से ही लोगों का मंदिर मे आना जारी हो गया था तथा सभी शिव भक्तों ने देवों के देव महादेव की पूजा अर्चना की।
