Chandigarh 31st March:- Can & Will Foundation today signed an agreement with Dev Samaj College of Education,Sector 36, Chandigarh to establish Project eduCATe in the college. Can & Will has pledged to financially support the education of 5 intelligent girl students aspiring to qualify as teachers, but who are facing monetary hardships. Current students shortlisted by Dev Samaj include daughters of a driver and a gardener.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education appreciated the initiative taken by Can & Will Foundation and extended full support to the project. Dr Dhillon said Project eduCATe was in keeping with the spirit of Dev Samaj ethos promoting quality education for all, regardless of financial hurdles.
Supreet Dhiman, Trustee, Can & Will Foundation informed that the Foundation was established in 2008 and 132 students had been financially supported and mentored by it till now, including an MBBS Doctor and a girl completing her article ship to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.
