Chandigarh 12th July:- The Education Minister, Punjab, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema today handed over appointment and posting orders to the newly promoted 520 Punjabi Lecturers. Stations were allotted to these Lecturers as per their choice.
Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema while addressing these newly promoted Lecturers said that the education department has allotted the stations to the Lecturers adopting a transparent online procedure. He said that the promotions and new recruitment is on top of the priority list of the department.
Divulging the details he said that all the newly promoted Lecturers were called so that they could opt for their choice posting as per the availability. He also divulged that all the vacant stations were being flashed on a big screen. All the Lecturers were asked to give their preferences against the vacant station flashing on the screen. The stations were allotted at the spot as per the request of the Lecturers.
Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema also exhorted them to discharge their duties concerning new assignment with full dedication and sincerity and set a benchmark in making the education system employment oriented.
Prominent among others who were present included Pardeep Aggarwal Director General School Education, Balbir Singh Dhol DPI (Secondary Education), Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal Chairperson Punjab School Education Board and Pankaj Sharma DPI (Elementary Education).
