Hotel Price Index Report Revealed Top 10 Destinations: Pune and Jaipur Emerged Best Value 5 Star Hotel Destinations

Chandigarh 25^th May:- According to the latest Hotels.com™ Hotel Price Index™ (HPI™) report, Pune makes way as the new entrant to offer Indian travelers the best deal on 5-star accommodation with an average price of INR7,602 a night in 2015 followed by Jaipur in the second place with INR7,844.The HPIis a regular report on hotel prices paid in major destinations across the world.

Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia ranked 3^rd on the list to offer best deal for 5 star accommodation withINR8,114 per night. Chennai took 4^th position on the list followed by Hyderabad priced at INR8,686 and 8,701 for a night respectively.

Eight cities from India featured as prominent spots on destinations that offer best value 5 star accommodation including metro cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. Ho Chi Minh City the largest city in Vietnam took the 9^th rank on the list priced at INR 9,700 for a night.

The HPI report also revealed the Top 10 cities where Indian travellers paid the most while booking a 5-star hotel room in2015.Leading the list is Florence priced at INR 33,734 per night, followed by Tokyo at INR 32,102.London which was leading the list last year slipped thereby taking the third position priced at INR 31,750 for a night. New York stood third on the list priced at INR 28,373 for a night at a 5 star property.

European cities including Venice priced at INR 26,698, Milan priced at INR 24,311 , Rome priced at INR 23,754 and Paris priced at INR 21,997 take 5^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th position respectively on the list where Indians paid most for a 5 star hotel room.  Hong Kong stood 9^th on the list priced at INR 21,916 followed by Barcelona priced at INR 20,263 for the same.
