Chandigarh 27th April:- CITCO in collaboration with State Bank of Patiala launched 40 new pedal boats for leisure boating at Sukhna Lake today. The new boats were handed over in a ceremony for overall promotion of boating tourism in Chandigarh. Anurag Aggarwal, Home secretary, UT, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. Also present were S. A. Ramesh Rangan, Managing Director, State Bank of Patiala, Kavita Singh, Managing Director, CITCO, Chandigarh and Papia Sengupta, Chief General Manager, SBP, Navjot Kaur, CGM CITCO, senior officials of the Bank, Devendra Kumar, General Manager, Retail Network, Rajat Banerjee, Deputy General Manager, Chandigarh zone and other officials.
A blood donation camp was organized in coordination with Government Multispecialty Hospital Sector-16, Chandigarh in which around 61 donors from SBP staff and general public donated blood. A free health check up was also organized on this occasion in collaboration with Max Hospital, Mohali.
Kavita Singh, Managing Director, CITCO said that as a Corporate Social responsibility for State bank of Patiala as well as CITCO, the blood donation camp and free medical check up has been organized at the most popular spot of Chandigarh. She further stated that the colorful leisure boats are a present to people visiting Sukhna Lake.
