Chandigarh 18th March:- Indian Dental Association, Chandigarh State Branch, is organizing a "Walkathon" at the Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh on the occasion of the ''World Oral Health Day' on March 20th, 2016. The theme for this year is "It all starts here: Healthy mouth and Healthy body" and the aim of this activity is get everyone to recognize the impact their oral health has on overall physical health to help inspire that change.
Professor Yogesh Chawla, Director, PGI, Chandigarh will flag off the Walk. It would be attended by nearly 100 members of the State IDA branch and the general public. Prof. Krishan Gauba, President of the IDA, Chandigarh State would deliver a small talk on the importance of oral health and also its impact on the general health of an individual.
