STA Invites Ideas and Suggestions for Clean and Pollution Free Chandigarh

Chandigarh 19th January:- The State Transport Authority (STA), U.T., Chandigarh has initiated a citywide enforcement campaign against the illegal and pollution causing vehicles, especially diesel auto-rickshaws that had been plying in the city. Discussions have been put forth by the Administration on the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook along with mygov.in portal at the following links on how can we better the pollution free air in Chandigarh,

Secretary State Transport Authority, Kashish Mittal said that as per the latest data received by Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC), there has been a significant decline in the various pollutants in Chandigarh, for the same we have initiated online campaigns as well so that the residents of the city can share more and more valuable suggestions with us on the above said links.

Residents from all quotas are coming forward in supporting the drives against the illegal and pollution causing vehicles, especially diesel auto-rickshaws keeping in mind the larger public health concerns.

Secretary State Transport Authority, Kashish Mittal, appealed to all the citizens of the city to share their ideas on the link so that the future  draft policy can be shaped keeping in view the suggestion of the residents.
