Regenesys Business School offers Financial Aid to Students

By 121 News

Chandigarh 20th January:- The Regenesys Business School, a premier B-School based in South Africa, became the first international B-School to offer financial aid to students of tricity and others parts in North India including the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

The unique payment options offered to students will enable eligible students to gain international qualifications regardless of their financial circumstances or socio-economic status. This initiative has been undertaken by the institute after thorough deliberation and understanding of the need for providing funds to talented young minds that do not have the financial standing to pursue international education and/or study abroad.

The B-School made this announcement and shared details of the scheme at a press briefing held here today. Announcing the scheme, Dr. Marko Saravanja, Chairperson, Regenesys Group said that in today's competitive world it pays to have a degree from a premier international institute that is recognized the world over. While it is lucrative for students to exercise an option to study abroad and attain a valuable qualification, it is also an expensive proposition for some. At Regenesys we believe in awakening potential and with this endeavour we intend to provide financial aid to aspiring students who find it difficult to accumulate funds to pursue their dream of an International career in management.

The 'Design Your Own Payment Plan' program is NOT a student loan. Rather, the program is a contractual agreement whereby students agree to make monthly payments on agreed terms and conditions.

Elaborating on the scheme, Dr. Richa Arora, Country Head, Regenesys India said that Design Your Own Payment Plan' is one-of-a-kind program that allows students to organise affordable payment plans that can be extended many years after they graduate. It is not a loan extended to the student and he/she can avail the scheme on pure merit. Interestingly the institute offers payment terms of 3, 5, 7 and 10 years to clear the fees. The student can avail of the scheme by making a down payment of one semester fee. The scheme has been designed to have monthly payments as low as Rs.11, 000.

The institute will grant concessions to the student on the basis of the tenure chosen by the student to pay the fees thereby enabling them to avail a higher discount for a lesser tenure. Flexibility of the tenure is granted, after analysing the socio-economic background of the student.

This scheme will drastically reduce the load the student has to undergo to secure a loan from any other financial institution. An equivalent degree from a similar institute based in UK, US, Australia or Canada (which are the countries that have been the choice for most Indian B-School aspirants traditionally) would set back the student by INR 20 Lacs plus. However with Regenesys, the fee is not only lower than that, the student can enjoy the benefits of a study now and pay later scheme and secure an internationally recognized qualification.
