Chandigarh 21st January:- The Post Graduate Department of Economics, MCM DAV College for Women Chandigarh organized the 9th Inter-College Economics Business Quiz "Quiz – E – Biz 2016" on 21st January, 2016 to test the knowledge, awareness and acumen of the students in Business and Economics.
As many as 33 teams from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh participated in it. On the basis of qualifying written round four teams were selected for the finals. The names of four final teams were Mittals, Nooyis Nadellas and Pichais each named after Indian CEOs of giant MNC's. Mrs. Achila Dogra, Ex-Principal of PGCG, Sector 11 was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The First Prize was bagged by SCD Govt College, Ludhiana while GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigah and MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh were the first and second runners up respectively.
The Principal of the college, Dr Nisha Bhargava, appreciated the innovative endeavor and said that such activities are a unique and innovative platform for students that encourage healthy competition and learning.
