Chandigarh 28th December:- CRB Public school of sector 7B, Chandigarh, celebrated its Annual day 'Stardom' at Tagore Theatre on Sunday. The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by honorable director N.K. Mittal and Principal Smt. Sangeeta Mittal along with other dignitaries present there. In a spectacular panorama, the students enriched the show with dance, music, mime and incredible Indian cultural performances. The tiny tots of the school created a beautiful ambience through their performances. The message to save animals deeply moved the hearts of the spectators. The dreadful condition of girls in the Indian society was skilfully executed by the girls of classes II, III and IV. The event not only damped the eyes but also the souls of all the mothers present there. Mobile phones, which have become a part of parcel of 21st century, could be so devastating, was showcased through a mime presented by the students of class VIII. The vibrancy of Indian festivals was intrinsically woven by the little ones. Giddha and Bhangra forced the audience to leave their seats and tap their feet. Although the show was an amalgamation of folk, hip-hop, retro and theatrical dance forms. The fillers based on various topics related to students life like teacher, school and education kept the audiences captured.
The prizes were distributed to the most regular students. Sahil of class VII was honoured by the school for winning a gold medal in the all Indian open Inter- School wrestling championship and Nuen of Class V for winning two silver medals in floor and vault gymnastic events organized by 41stChandigarh state Gymnastic championship. Patriotic and finale events which were a tribute to Indian soldiers marked the conclusion of the show.
