TVS Motor Company Records Sales of 227,653 Units in August 2015

Chandigarh 04^th September:- TVS Motor Company recorded total sales of 227,653 units in the month of August 2015 against 225,064 units in the month of August 2014; posting a growth of 1% over the same month of the previous year.

The company's total exports grew by 21% with sales increasing from 35,074 units in the month of August 2014 to 42,570 units in the month of August 2015. Two wheeler exports grew by 22% with sales increasing from 27,115 units in the month of August 2014 to 33,128 units in the month of August 2015.

Total two wheeler sales of the company increased from 215,244 units in the month of August 2014 to 216,781 units in the month of August 2015. Domestic two wheeler sales for the month of August 2015 stood at 183,653 units against 188,129 units in the month of August 2014.

Scooters sales grew by 11% increasing from 65,544 units in the month August 2014 to 72,865 units in the month of August 2015. Motorcycles sales grew by 6% increasing from 82,320 units in the month of August 2014 to 87,044 units in the month of August 2015.

Three wheeler sales of the company grew by 11%, increasing from 9,820 units in the month of August 2014 to 10,872 units in the month of August 2015.
