PGI Pediatrician Awarded With International Research Award

Chandigarh 27th Sept:- Dr Jitendra Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor, Advanced Paediatric Center, PGIMER, Chandigarh has been selected as the recipient of prestigious International "Sheila Wallace Award" in recognition of outstanding research contribution in the field of Child Neurology. The award recognizes a young child neurologist who has made a highly significant research contribution to Child Neurology in a resource-limited region. He will receive the award at the International Child Neurology Association Congress in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, May 1-5th, 2016.  His research work was under the mentorship of Prof. Pratibha Singhi, Head of the Department, Advanced Paediatric Center, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Through research grants from the PGIMER, ICMR & CSIR, and over 50 publications, he has contributed significantly to the diagnosis and management of neurological problems of children in India.
