Chandigarh 14th September:- CITCO's flagship Hotel-Hotel Mountview is organising Amritsari food festival. Live enthralling Punjabi cultural performances is also being organised.The food festival began on September 11 and will continue till September 20. During the festival, delicacies from Amritsar such as dal makhani, amritsari fish, mutton dishes, Kesri Kheer, jalebi and rabri are being offered.
The CITCO's Amritsari food fiesta would offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian Amritsari cuisines. At the festival, the traditional Amritsari dishes would be prepared by the renowned chefs from Amritsar.
Food lovers can also enjoy peppy Punjabi folk songs, while relishing the cuisine. According to master chef Jatinder Singh Sodhi from Amritsar, it's a great opportunity for him to bring authentic Amritsari street food festival for residents of the tricity.
Amritsari-style 'rarrha' meat, served with rotis and salad is also being offered.
