AIHM Celebrates Teacher's Day

Chandigarh 04th September:- Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, celebrated teacher's day with much pomp and revelry.  A huge event was organised by the students in adoration and respect for their teachers. The event was themed as "Comedy Central" which was divided into various parts. The day began with excited giggles and hushed voices as senior most students took over as "Teachers for the day". The function commenced with a warm speech offered by the student-teachers who talked about Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, which was followed by singing, dance and other fun activities. The event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony followed by sumptuous snacks prepared by the students. The teachers and the students joyfully had their meals together at the end of the function in the institute dining hall. The day ended on a good note with an emotional and recreational touch leaving the teachers and the students full of love and cheerfulness. 

Vikrant Dhingra, a student of 3rd year said that teachers are like the gardeners who sow the seed, cares and nurtures, it to a flower to spread joy and fragrance. The same is the life of student who grows to become a confident, all-rounder; thanks to the teachers.

Mrs Bharti Tyagi, the Principal said that students are putting in a great effort to make their teachers feel special on Teacher's Day. Hence, celebrating this day to appreciate their contribution and imparting knowledge to the students is very important. I thank all the students for showing such great enthusiasm and vigour in making this day special and wish that they become great future builders of the nation.
