Chandigarh 24th August:- Indo Global Colleges conducted an orientation day program at its campus. This program was explicitly held to help the new students to understand the wide sprawling campus, to meet the Heads of Departments, academicians, faculty members, administrative team, hostel wardens and all such people with whom the student has to interface from time to time. The Seminar Hall was packed to full capacity with the new incumbent students and their parents.
The Orientation Program commenced with ceremonial lighting of the lamp and recital of Saraswati Vandana. This was followed by welcome address by Chairman of Indo Global Group of Colleges Sukhdev Kumar Singla. Welcoming the new students he advised them on three important factors namely hard work, smart work, consistency and focus. There is no shortcut to hard work, he said and through hard work one learns smart working. He advised the youngsters to be hard working, to be consistent in their efforts and to stay focused. These qualities will help them to achieve their career goals. All the Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative team, wardens, student advisers and counselors were all introduced to the students.
