Chandigarh 09th May:- RIMT World School celebrated Mother's Day in a different manner where the mothers were invited for a free Health Check-up with an initiative to promote Health. Dr. Poonam Chauhan MD (Internal Medicine), held a special consultation and check-up on Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar Testing, BMI calculation & Nutritional advice. She also gave a health talk on Osteoporosis and Metabolic X Syndrome and addressed health queries. Various other activities were held throughout the week wherein the young RIMT'ians got an opportunity to express their love and admiration for their mother on the special day. Mother's Day Card making competition was held for students of classes Pre-nursery to II and message writing competition was held for classes III-V. Poetry recital competition on the topic mother was held for class VI.
Speaking on the occasion the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Katoch highlighted the role of mothers in bringing up children and said that in today's fast moving, challenging world, mothers must spend quality time with their children.
