Symposium on “Male Reproductive Health”

Chandigarh 27th February:- PGI, Chandigarh is organising a one day symposium on "Male Reproductive Health". This symposium intends to cover commonly encountered problems pertaining to male reproductive life which are less discussed and often ignored.  Eminent national Faculty will be delivering lectures and give their expert opinion.The areas covered in the symposium would be prenatal issues like management of ambiguous genitalia (indeterminate sex) including surgery for sex reassignment, followed by adolescent sexual behaviour including homosexuality, then Reproductive problems in adults and aging sexual disorders. This will be followed by an interesting case discussion session. 

The symposium is organised by Department of Urology, PGIMER under the chairmanship of Prof A K Mandal, Head of Dept. of Urology at PGI. Prof SK Singh and Dr Ravimohan S Mavuduru are the organising secretaries.  They emphasize that the topics covered in the symposium are important in clinical practice of internal medicine and are usually missing from the undergraduate medical training.

The Symposium will be inaugurated by Prof Yogesh Chawla, Director PGI at 9 AM in Lecture Theatre 1, PGI. The Proceedings of the symposium in the form of printed book of study material would be released by the Prof S Malhotra, The Dean, PGI.  This symposium has been accredited with four CME hours by Punjab Medical Council.
