CGC Jhanjeri announces scholarship for rural & financially weak Students

Mohali 27^th December:- Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri, announced scholarship, Facilities & Incentives to economically weak students in a meeting with representatives of about 50 villages. More than 100 persons including Chairmen of Marketing Committees/ Block Samitis, MCs, Sarpanches, Lambardars and Members of various Block Samitis attended the meeting.

Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that the college would put in the best of its efforts for providing scholarship, additional facilities and top quality education to students living in rural areas.

Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General CGC said that within a short period of about two years, the students of CGC, Jhanjeri have created new records in PTU by capturing highest number of positions in the Merit Lists of PTU. He further explained Govt. Scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students, incentives given by the college management for general category students belonging to economically weaker families. Achievements of the college during the last two years in the fields of academics, sports & other co-curricular activities were also highlighted at the moment.
