Chandigarh 09th June:- The enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today removed encroachments from Motor Market in Manimajra and adjoining area of the Market. During the drive 43 challans issued to the violators. The drive was carried out under the supervision of Kashmira Singh, superintendent, Enforcement and other Inspectors of Enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation.
The enforcement team removed and impounded 18 cars, 10 trucks etc. The vehicles were lifted with the help of cranes. In addition to that 15 mechanic tool boxes, pulleys, oxygen cylinders, Gas Tanki, hydraulic jacks used in repairing vehicles etc were removed and seized. The drive was carried peacefully and no untoward incident took place.
