Chandigarh 23rd June:- 72 violators have been issued challans by the enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today in a special anti encroachment drive held in various markets of city. During the course of drive the enforcement team removed encroachments from sector 15 Patel Market, Rock Garden, Sector 26, Sector 18 Market, Sector 22, chandigarh. The drive was carried under the directions of Mrs. Sarita Malik, Joint Commissioner and supervision of Sunil Dutt, Inspector Enforcement and all sub inspectors of Enforcement wing, MCC.
During the drive various unauthorized items including electronic items, iron racks, ladies suits/garments, readymade garments, Gas cylinder, bag, jack, shoes, rehires, different types of pharies etc. were removed and seized from the Municipal land.
