SLC Hold Quiz Contest and Drawing & Painting Competition on Oil & Gas Conservation

Chandigarh 25^th January:-- Keeping in view the tradition of national noble cause, i.e. to make people more aware about Conservation of petroleum products, this year also Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight -2014 is being celebrated during the period Jan. 16-31, 2014 by State Level Coordinator, U.T. Chandigarh.

 With non-renewable sources of energy fast depleting, Quiz Contest and Drawing & Painting Competition on Topic: 'Save Oil, Save Money, Save Environmenat D A V School Sector 8, Chandigarh;  Slogan Writing Competition on Oil & Gas Conservation and LPG Safety & Conservation Clinic were conducted at Dev Samaj College, Sector – 36, Chandigarh on January 25th, 2014 by State Level Coordinator, U.T. Chandigarh.

 Senior Regional Manager of HPCL, Krishan Kumar Handa. Sridhar Pulei and S.C. Negi explained the safe practices for use of LPG equipment and various techniques for saving LPG. Oil & Gas Conservation pledge was taken and endorsed by more than 100 participants that comprised of students, Lectures and the vice Principal and the Principal of the College. The enthusiasm & the zeal were worth seeing.

The movie showing various ways and means of conserving LPG was also exhibited, which was very well received & appreciated by the participants. State Level Coordinator, U.T. Chandigarh and Senior Regional Manager of HPCL, Krishan Kumar Handa applauded & appreciated the Principal, Mrs. Dr. Jyoti Khanna, Vice Principal Mrs. Arvinder H. Singh, lecturers & the students for their active participation in OGCF 2014  and wished the college best of everything.
