Mohali Police Arrest Three with Pakistani Sim and Weapons

Chandigarh 04^th January:- पंजाब पुलिस ने मोहाली के खरड़ से तीन संदिग्ध लोगों को हथियारों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने इनसे पाकिस्तानी सिम और हथियार भी बरामद किए हैं। यह लोग पाकिस्तान से भारत में ड्रग्स की स्मलिंग करते थे। पुलिस ने इनसे पाकिस्तान, ब्राजील और चाइना मेड हथियार बरामद किए गए हैं।

गुरपीत सिंह आईपीस जिला मुखी एसएसपी मोहाली ने बताया कि सीआए स्टाफ मोहाली पुलिस पार्टी ने पंजाब और उसके साथ-साथ लगते राज्यों के तीन मोस्ट वांटेड गैंगेस्टर और स्मगलर को भारी मात्रा हथियारों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। मुखबिर की सूचना पर आरोपी गुरजंट सिंह उर्फ भोलू, उम्र 26 साल, संदीप सिंह उम्र 25 साल और गोलू को गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपियों से 9 एमएम पिस्टल, 20 जिंदा कारतूस, दो खोल कारतूस, .03 की पिस्टल के 35 जिंदा कारतूस। पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपियों ने 1 जनवरी को मोहाली में एटीएम मशीन तोड़ने की योजना बनाई थी, लेकिन पुलिस की ज्यादा हलचल की वजह से वह ऐसा नहीं कर पाए। 

सोमवार को मोहाली पुलिस ने पीछा कर लांडरा खरड़ रोड पर एक सैलून के पास आरोपियों की कार रुकवाई, जहां पर पुलिस के साथ मुठभेड़ हुई। इसके बाद तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। आरोपियों के पास से भारी में मात्रा हथियार बरामद किए हैं। जानकारी के मुताबिक, आरोपियों ने गिरफ्तारी से बचने के लिए फायरिंग की और फिर हाथापाई में कई पुलिसवाले घायल हो गए। एसएसपी मोहाली ने बताया कि आरोपी में एक पटियाला और दो लोग तरनतारन के रहने वाले हैं। शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि यह गिरोह किडनैपिंग और ड्रग्स का काम करता था। पुलिस इन तीनों लोगों को करीब तीन माह से तलाश कर रही थी। तीनों लोग स्थान बदल-बदल कर ड्रग्स की सप्लाई कर रहे थे। एसएसपी ने बताया कि तीनों बदमाश अमीर लोगों के बच्चों को अगवा कर फिरोती मांगते थे।

इससे पूर्व चंडीगढ के जोनल इंचार्ज डॉ बी एस चीमा जी ने  महात्मा जोशी  जी के गले मे दुपट्टा डाल कर उनका स्वागत किया । डॉ बी एस चीमा  जी ने जोशी जी और स्थानीय संगत का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा की  आज सत्गुरु बाबा हरदेव सिंह जी महाराज परमात्मा के ज्ञान के माध्यम से जन मानस को आपसी भाईचारा और प्यार से रहने की जांच सीखा रहे है । स्थानीय संयोजक मोहिन्दर सिंह जी ने भी इस अवसर पर आशीर्वाद लिया ।

 

No Compromise with Quality Education in Government Schools of State:Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema

Chandigarh 04^th January:-  The Punjab state has notched a special mark in the education sphere in India and the Punjab Government is fully committed to maintain the high standards of the education and no compromise would be made in ensuring the delivery of quality education in all the Government schools of the state. It was disclosed by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Education Minister, Punjab while kick starting the process for the allotment stations to the newly promoted teachers as per their choice here Punjab School Education Board Auditorium today.

Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema was addressing the teachers and exhausted them to work with fully diligence and dedication to make the state no. 1 in education. He said that the government would also sympathetically all the concerns of the teachers and newly promoted teachers would be allotted stations as per their choice. He said that within two working days 907 promote teachers would get stations as per their choice.

D.P.I. (SS) Balbir Singh Dhol said that the Education department today allotted stations to 365 Punjabi, 22 Science and 98 Math teachers. He said that this process would also be continued tomorrow and remaining teachers of Hindi, Social Science, D.P.E., Agriculture and Sanskrit would get posting at new stations of their choice.

 

Winter Camp Concludes at Sacred Souls School

Chandigarh 04^th January:-  सैक्रड सोल्स स्कूल में  दस दिवसीय विंटर कैंप स्नो फ्लेक्स बडे ही उत्साह के साथ संपंन हो गया। स्कूल परिसर में आयोजित इस कैंप में विभिन्न एक्टिविटीज़ में स्कूल विद्याथियों व बाहर स्कूली विद्याथियों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया और अपने हुनर का कौशल दिखाया।  इसके साथ ही विद्यार्थियों व अध्यापकगणों नें नववर्ष के अवसर पर केक काटकर नववर्ष मनाया गया। 

विद्यार्थियों के लिए इस दौरान विभिन्न आर्ट एंड क्राफ्ट, पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिताए जिनमें स्टोन पेंटिंग, विभिन्न पक्षियों व जानवरों के क्ले स्कल्चर आदि शामिल थे, आयोजित करवाया गया। इसके अलावा विद्यार्थियों में पर्सनल डिवेलपमैंट, म्यूजिक,डांस एवं थियेटर पर जैसी गतिविधियों पर अधिक ध्यान कें द्रित किया गया था। विद्यार्थियों को चार्ली चैपलिन की मूवी भी दिखाई गई जिसका विद्यार्थियों ने खूब आनंद उठाया। इतना ही नही कैंप के  अंतिम दिन माताओं के लिए एक आकर्षित सेशन का आयोजन भी किया गया जिसमें उनके साथ तंबोला व अन्य रोमांचिक खेल इत्यादि खेले गये। जिसमें माताओं ने बढ़ चढ कर हिस्सा लिया। 

कैंप के समापन पर स्कूल की प्रिंसीपल मनबीर बराड़ ने  विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कार व प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया 

 

 

 

Administration Revises Collector Rates

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- Chandigarh Administration has revised the Collector with effect from 02-01-2016 in accordance with prevailing market rates.

In response to the representations given by various organizations and keeping in view demand of residents of Chandigarh, the Collector rates have been revised, there was a demand that Collector rates were more than prevailing market rates in various pockets of U.T., Chandigarh like Industrial Area, Show Room on Madhya Marg, Sectors 17, 22, Sub City Centre-34 & dividing road 34/35 and at the same time, there was demand to rationalize the rates as per location of Sectors like in Northern and Old Sectors, prevailing market rate is at higher side than Southern newly developed Sectors. Further to bring more clarity in certain categories new words like Shop-cum-Flat (SCF), Shop-cum-Shop (SCS), Bay shop, other Flats (Co op Societies' Flats, etc.) have been added.

Keeping in view the demand of the citizens of Chandigarh, the general reduction in rates is likely to benefit people to the tune of Rs. 15-20 Crore but at the same time, due to this deduction, transactions would be more, which will ultimately generate more revenue for the Government.

The Collector rates have been reduced in Industrial Area by 20% and in residential area upto 10% with creation of three new zones. Commercial property Collector's rates are also reduced by 10% in area of Sector 17, 22, Sub City Centre-34, Madhya Marg and dividing road of Sector 34/35, Chandigarh .It has decided by the Deputy Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh that every year, the Collector rates will be revised on 31^st March.

 

Punjab Youth Congress President to Undertake 5-day Padyatra for Naming of International Airport as Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- The youth congress of Punjab is all set to undertake five- day long Padyatra to rename Mohali International airport as Shaheed Bhagat Singh airport. The President of Punjab Youth Congress (PYC), Amarpreet Singh Lally has got wholehearted support from Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee's chief Capt Amarinder Singh who flag- off the event on January 4. Lally will start this padyatra from Shaheed Bhagat Singh's native village Khatkar Kalan and he has already conducted meetings with members of PYC in this regard. The Yatra will then pass through Nawanshahar, Balachaur, Rupnagar, Kurali, Kharar and Sohana. The march will culminate at Mohali airport on January 8 where former union minister and President of Election campaign committee for Assembly Elections 2017 in Punjab, Ambika Soni is expected to join.   

Talking about this issue, Lally said that Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar has no objection in naming the airport after the famed freedom fighter. Then also no decision has been taken by Modi-led central government.  Moreover, SAD has failed to convince the government at the Centre to name the airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Now, Punjab Youth Congress has taken it upon itself to accomplish this task. Our movement is drawing overwhelming response on social media and we are expecting huge turnout in this padyatra.

The members of Punjab Youth Congress are hopeful that through the padyatra they will be able to draw attention to this long-pending demand.

 

Green Castle School Organizes Winter Camp

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- ग्रीन कैसल स्कूल सेक्टर 47 में विंटर कैंप का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें विद्यार्थियों ने खुब मौज मस्ती कर इस कैंप में आनंद उठाया। विद्याथियों ने इस विंटर कैंप में म्यूजिक चेयर, अंताकक्षरी, जैसी विभिन्न खेलों में बढ़चढ कर हिस्सा लिया। इसके अलावा विद्यार्थियों को शिष्टाचार, आत्म निर्भर, पारिवारिक मूल्यों की भावना, सेल्फ कॉपोरेशन के गुरों को सिखाया गया। कैंप के दौरान स्कूली विद्यार्थियों को प्रिंसीपल तथा अन्य अध्यापकों की देख रेख में माता मनसा देवी तथा गुरूद्वारा नानकसर को दिखाने तथा इसके बारें में अधिक जानकारी बताने के लिए ले जाया गया। इस दौरान उनकों संत बाबा गुरूदेव सिंह जी ने उनकों गुरूद्वारे की महत्ता को बताया। इस दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने कीर्तन में भी सम्मिलित हुए और प्रसाद ग्रहण कर स्कूल में वापिस पहुंचे। 

इस अवसर पर स्कूल के चेयरमैन राजेश कपूर ने कहा कि स्कूल सदा से ही बच्चों में रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्त करने तथा उनको प्रोत्साहित करने में अपने पर दृढ़ता से विश्वास रखता है।
