Chandigarh, April 29, 2026:-A 30-hour Value Added Course on “Capacity Building on ‘Ready to Work Smart as Educators and Beyond’” concluded today at the Government College of Education, Sector 20-D. The five-day programme, held from April 24 to April 28, was organised under the patronage of Principal Dr Sapna Nanda.

The course was conceptualised and curated by Dr Ravneet Chawla, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Placement Cell, along with student executive members including Anshuman (President, Placement Cell), Shagun Choudhary (Student Coordinator, VAC 2026), Kinshuk Gosain, Juhi Paul, Sachin Rana, Ishita, Naveen, Jatin, Ipsa and Mudita. It aimed at holistically preparing future educators for personal and professional success.

The inaugural day featured a vibrant Nati workshop as an icebreaker, promoting cultural awareness and student bonding. Expert sessions by Dr Vivek Atray, Brahmakumari Madhuri, Dr Ravinder Kumar and Ms Kirandeep Loomba focused on purpose-driven living, environmental responsibility, positivity, and well-being. The day concluded with a session on Universal Human Values by Prof Munshi Yadav.

Day two began with a volleyball match between Ace Attackers and Thunder Strikers, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Academic sessions included Dr Ajay Sharma’s insights on entrepreneurship, Mr Sanjay Aggarwal’s guidance on employability, and Dr Sabina Duggal’s discussion on teaching in the digital era.

The third day commenced with a nature walk, followed by sessions by Dr Vandana Aggarwal on career vision, Dr Prabhjot Malhi on early identification of learning concerns, and Ms Anuradha Chawla on employability skills. Sessions by Mr Ramnik Bansal and Ms Ipsa emphasised excellence and career commitment.

On day four, a library visit led by Ms Khushi highlighted the importance of academic resources. Sessions by Mrs Indu Aggarwal and Mr Kartik Dutta explored gamification and AI in teaching, while Dr Ravneet Chawla spoke on “Passion and Compassion.” Ms Madhu Pandit concluded the day with a session on mindful relationships.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof Swairaj Singh Sandhu, who underscored the importance of storytelling in teaching-learning processes. The Principal Dr Sapna Nanda expressed gratitude to all speakers and appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell team. The programme concluded with best wishes for the students’ future and encouragement to remain connected with their alma mater.

Chandigarh, Apr.30, 2026:- भारत के कॉरुगेटेड बॉक्स निर्माताओं ने बढ़ती लागत को लेकर गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त की है और इसे अभूतपूर्व संकट करार दिया है। द हिमाचल प्रदेश कॉरुगेटेड बॉक्स मैनुफैक्चर्स एसोसिएशन (एचपीसीबीएमए)  ने उद्योग की वर्तमान स्थिति को देखते हुए ग्राहकों, भागीदारों और नीति-निर्माताओं से तुरंत हस्तक्षेप और सुधारात्मक कदम उठाने की अपील की है।

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में फेडरेशन ऑफ कॉरुगेटेड बॉक्स मैन्युफैक्चरर्स ऑफ इंडिया (एफसीबीएम) के प्रेसीडेंट राजिंदर भाटी; एचपीसीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट आदित्य सूद एचपीसीबीएमए के पूर्व प्रेसीडेंट गगन कपूर, यूपी सीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट एस. के. चौहान, एनसीएम के प्रेसीडेंट हरीश जयरथ, एचसीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट सनी जैन तथा पीसीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट कुलदीप मक्कड़ उपस्थित रहे।

चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित एक प्रेस वार्ता में एफसीबीएम के प्रेसीडेंट राजिंदर भट्टी ने बताया कि कॉरुगेटेड बॉक्स निर्माण में उपयोग होने वाले प्रमुख कच्चे माल क्राफ्ट पेपर की कीमतों में पिछले कुछ महीनों में 15–20 प्रतिशत तक वृद्धि हुई है। चूंकि क्राफ्ट पेपर कुल लागत का लगभग 80 प्रतिशत हिस्सा होता है, इस बढ़ोतरी का सीधा और व्यापक असर पूरे उद्योग पर पड़ रहा है। इस वृद्धि के पीछे वैश्विक भू-राजनीतिक परिस्थितियां, सप्लाई चेन में बाधाएं और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों में अस्थिरता प्रमुख कारण बताए गए हैं।

इसके अलावा, गोंद, स्याही, चिपकने वाले पदार्थ, स्टेपल वायर और स्ट्रैपिंग वायर जैसे अन्य आवश्यक इनपुट्स की कीमतों में 30–40 प्रतिशत तक की भारी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है। इन सभी लागतों में वृद्धि ने प्रोडक्शन कॉस्ट को अत्यधिक बढ़ा दिया है और उद्योग पर वित्तीय दबाव और गहरा कर दिया है।

उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश के निर्माता विशेष रूप से लागत दबाव और लॉजिस्टिक चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहे हैं। सरकार को तुरंत राहत उपायों पर विचार करना चाहिए।

एचपीसीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट आदित्य सूद ने कहा कि ने कहा कि कच्चे माल की कीमतों में लगातार बढ़ोतरी ने उद्योग की लागत संरचना को पूरी तरह प्रभावित कर दिया है। यदि समय रहते मूल्य संशोधन और नीतिगत समर्थन नहीं मिला, तो कई इकाइयों के लिए टिके रहना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। केवल कच्चे माल ही नहीं, बल्कि फैक्ट्री संचालन से जुड़ी लागतें भी लगातार बढ़ रही हैं। बिजली दरों में वृद्धि और वैधानिक मजदूरी में बढ़ोतरी के कारण उत्पादन लागत और बढ़ गई है, जिससे कई इकाइयों के लिए संचालन बनाए रखना मुश्किल हो गया है।

इसके साथ ही, जीएसटी व्यवस्था में मौजूद उल्टा शुल्क ढांचा (इनवर्टेड ड्यूटी कॉस्टI भी उद्योग के लिए बड़ी चुनौती बनकर उभरा है। इनपुट टैक्स अधिक होने और आउटपुट टैक्स कम होने के कारण रिफंड में देरी हो रही है। जटिल और समय लेने वाली प्रक्रियाओं के चलते उद्योग की कार्यशील पूंजी फंस रही है, जिससे नकदी प्रवाह और तरलता पर गंभीर असर पड़ रहा है।

एचपीसीबीएमए के पूर्व प्रेसीडेंट गगन कपूर ने बताया कि 19 किलो के एलपीजी सिलेंडर की कीमत फरवरी से अप्रैल के बीच 1,600 रुपये से बढ़कर 2,200 रुपये हो गई है और वर्तमान में आवश्यक आपूर्ति का केवल 25–30% ही उपलब्ध है। एलपीजी की कमी के कारण मजदूर भी वापस लौट रहे हैं, जिससे फैक्ट्रियों में कार्यबल 25–30% तक कम हो गया है।  

यूपीएसबीएमबीए के प्रेसीडेंट एस के चौहान. तथा एनआईसीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट हरीश जयरथ ने बताया कि इनपुट सेवाओं पर जीएसटी रिफंड में देरी और बढ़ती लागत ने स्थिति को और गंभीर बना दिया है। रिफंड प्रक्रिया में लंबा समय लगने के कारण कार्यशील पूंजी चक्र प्रभावित हो रहा है और उद्योग वित्तीय दबाव में आ गया है। जीएसटी में उल्टा शुल्क ढांचा उद्योग के लिए गंभीर समस्या बन चुका है। रिफंड में देरी से कार्यशील पूंजी पर भारी दबाव पड़ रहा है। इनपुट लागत में 30–40 प्रतिशत तक की वृद्धि ने छोटे और मध्यम उद्योगों को सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित किया है। इनके लिए विशेष सहायता आवश्यक है।

एच सी बी एम ए के प्रेसीडेंट सनी जैन तथा पीसीबीएमए के प्रेसीडेंट कुलदीप मक्कड़  ने कहा, बिजली दरों और मजदूरी में वृद्धि ने उत्पादन लागत को और बढ़ा दिया है। उद्योग को प्रतिस्पर्धी बनाए रखने के लिए नीति समर्थन जरूरी है। यह समय उद्योग और सरकार के बीच सहयोग का है। यदि उचित कदम उठाए जाएं, तो इस संकट से बाहर निकला जा सकता है। यह समय उद्योग और सरकार के बीच सहयोग का है। यदि उचित कदम उठाए जाएं, तो इस संकट से बाहर निकला जा सकता है।

The third day commenced with a nature walk, followed by sessions by Dr Vandana Aggarwal on career vision, Dr Prabhjot Malhi on early identification of learning concerns, and Ms Anuradha Chawla on employability skills. Sessions by Mr Ramnik Bansal and Ms Ipsa emphasised excellence and career commitment.

On day four, a library visit led by Ms Khushi highlighted the importance of academic resources. Sessions by Mrs Indu Aggarwal and Mr Kartik Dutta explored gamification and AI in teaching, while Dr Ravneet Chawla spoke on “Passion and Compassion.” Ms Madhu Pandit concluded the day with a session on mindful relationships.

IndiGo Resumes Connectivity to and from Doha Effective 01 May 2026

AAP Launches Campaign against Chandigarh Housing Board’s injustice, Start Signature Drive

Chandigarh, Apr.29, 2026:-Aam Aadmi Party today held an important press conference at its Sector-39 party office in Chandigarh, where senior party leaders addressed the media.

On this occasion, in-charge Jarnail Singh said that Chandigarh earlier witnessed Congress rule and has been under BJP governance for the past 12 years, but both parties together have misled the people of the city for the last 25 years.

He stated that the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has issued around 32,000 notices so far, demanding demolition/restoration charges from thousands of families, putting their homes under threat of action. CHB had earlier allowed Need-Based Changes (NBC) and collected fees, but is now declaring those same changes illegal and taking action, which is completely unjust.

He further informed that CHB has constructed more than 67,000 houses, accommodating nearly 25% of the city’s population, out of which over 50% belong to the EWS/LIG categories. Frequent policy changes over the past 25 years (2001–2026) have created confusion and insecurity among residents.

Jarnail Singh added that after the Supreme Court’s FAR decision, several relief measures were withdrawn, directly impacting common citizens. Additional construction is now being charged at ₹200 per sq. ft. plus GST and other costs, putting a financial burden of ₹30,000–₹50,000 or more on ordinary families.

He also pointed out that promises such as One-Time Regularisation and No Penalty Policy remain unfulfilled. Different rules are being applied in different sectors within the same city, leading to discrimination, and even under the new SOP (2026), Phase-I houses have been excluded from relief.

Criticizing the “room in place of flat house” policy, he said that it restricts residents from undertaking permanent construction. He questioned how the government can approve construction, collect money, and later declare the same structures illegal and demolish people’s homes.

Jarnail Singh made it clear that Aam Aadmi Party will strongly raise this issue and, if required, will escalate it from the Governor to Parliament. If necessary, the party will not hesitate to gherao the Prime Minister’s Office.

The party also announced that large-scale nukkad meetings will be organized across all Chandigarh Housing Board areas to directly engage with residents. Party workers will go door-to-door, connect with affected families, and get protest forms filled to raise their voices collectively before the administration.

Alongside this, AAP has launched a widespread signature campaign and a public awareness drive across the city to mobilize maximum support against this injustice and strengthen people’s voice.

Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemned the anti-people policies of BJP and Congress on this issue and stated that it will fight with full strength to protect thousands of families and ensure that any attempt to demolish people’s homes is defeated.

इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए पार्षद हरदीप सिंह बुटेरला ने कहा कि यह गाँव वालों की लंबे समय से चली आ रही माँग थी और समस्या यह थी कि लोगों के घरों तक पीने का गंदा पानी पहुँच रहा था। हालांकि गंदे पानी के आने के पीछे कई समस्याएं थीं, लेकिन अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी को समझते हुए, उन्होंने गाँव में एक नई अंडरग्राउंड पाईपलाईन बिछाकर गाँव वालों को राहत दी है और लोगों को इस नई पाईपलाइन से पानी के कनेक्शन देना शुरू कर दिया गया है। अब गाँव में लोगों को गंदे पानी से राहत मिलेगी और उनके घरों तक पीने का साफ़ पानी पहुँच सकेगा।

गया प्रसाद सर्वसम्मति से चुने क्लास फोर इम्प्लाइज युनियन- शिक्षा विभाग के चेयरमैन

Chandigarh, Apr.29, 2026:--  क्लास-IV कर्मचारी संघ, शिक्षा विभाग, U.T. चंडीगढ़ ने 29 अप्रैल 2026 को दोपहर 3:00 बजे मस्जिद ग्राउंड, सेक्टर-20, चंडीगढ़ में एक आम सभा  बुलाई, ताकि संगठन से जुड़े कुछ अहम और लंबित मामलों पर निर्णायक कार्रवाई की जा सके। इस बैठक में संघ के कामकाज और उसकी लोकतांत्रिक संरचना को प्रभावित करने वाली गंभीर चिंताओं पर चर्चा की गई।

 इसमें निम्नलिखित बातें सामने आईं:-संघ के चेयरमैन का पद 2024 से ही खाली पड़ा था, क्योंकि इस दौरान कोई चुनाव नहीं करवाया गया था। संघ के प्रधान का कार्यकाल 12 मार्च 2026 को समाप्त हो चुका था, जिसके कारण नेतृत्व का अभाव पैदा हो गया था।

13 मार्च 2026 को चुनाव से जुड़े फैसले लेने की एक कोशिश की गई थी, लेकिन कार्यकारिणी  को इसकी उचित सूचना नहीं दी गई थी; इस बात ने पारदर्शिता और प्रक्रिया को लेकर कई सवाल खड़े कर दिए थे।

बैठक के दौरान, सदस्यों ने इन मुद्दों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की और संघ के लोकतांत्रिक कामकाज को बहाल करने, जवाबदेही सुनिश्चित करने और संघ के भीतर एकता को मज़बूत करने के लिए आपसी सहमति से आवश्यक निर्णय लिए।

Canada Resident Undergoes Robotic Knee Surgery at Shalby Hospital, Mohali

Chandigarh, Apr.27, 2026:--A 74 years Canada resident underwent a successful robotic knee replacement surgery at Shalby Hospital, Mohali. The surgery helped to restore the patient's mobility, who was wheelchair-bound for nearly three years after suffering advanced bilateral knee osteoarthritis, severe deformity, and long-standing loss of mobility.

The patient had approached Shalby Hospital after facing a long waiting period for staged knee replacement surgery in Canada.

Dr Pardeep Aggarwal, chairman-ortho & joint replacement surgery at Shalby Hospital, Mohali said that the patient had significant bone defects and deformity in both knees thus making the case complex and requiring specialized surgical planning. The deformity was severe enough to require revision implants on the tibial side.

The  patient showed encouraging recovery by standing and walking with support within 24 hours of robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery, informed Dr Aggarwal.

Robotic-assisted knee replacement is increasingly being adopted worldwide for its ability to enhance surgical precision, optimize implant positioning, and support improved alignment in complex cases, said Dr Aggarwal.

Dr. Akshat Srivastva, consultant ortho said that Robotic-assisted knee replacement represents a major advancement in ortho surgery, especially for patients with severe deformity and advanced arthritis. Around 100 boys participated on the opening day of the boys’ trials, which are scheduled to be held over three days. The selection process for the boys was reviewed by Ravinder Nain, Bharat Loomba and Yoginder Singh Bhandari. Meanwhile, the girls’ trials, conducted over a single day and witnessed enthusiastic participation. सेक्टर-36 कॉलेज क्षेत्र में गाड़ियों का हुड़दंग: पुलिस प्रशासन की चुप्पी से बढ़ा जनाक्रोश

Chandigarh, Apr.25, 2026:-शहर के सेक्टर-36 स्थित कॉलेज क्षेत्र के आसपास देर शाम और रात के समय गाड़ियों का लगातार चक्कर लगाना, तेज रफ्तार में वाहन दौड़ाना, ऊंची आवाज में गाने बजाना, बेवजह हॉर्न बजाना और सड़कों पर हुड़दंग मचाना अब आम बात बन चुकी है। इस लगातार बढ़ रही अव्यवस्था से स्थानीय निवासी बेहद परेशान हैं, लेकिन चंडीगढ़ पुलिस की निष्क्रियता ने लोगों की नाराजगी को और बढ़ा दिया है।

क्षेत्र के पार्षद जसवीर सिंह बंटी  ने इस गंभीर समस्या को लेकर कई बार संबंधित एरिया थाना प्रभारी को सूचित किया, बार-बार ध्यान आकर्षित करवाया, लेकिन इसके बावजूद न तो नियमित पुलिस गश्त बढ़ाई गई और न ही हुड़दंग मचाने वालों पर कोई सख्त कार्रवाई देखने को मिली। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि पुलिस की ढीली कार्यप्रणाली के कारण कुछ शरारती तत्व रात के समय गाड़ियों में इलाके के चक्कर लगाते हैं, तेज म्यूजिक बजाते हैं और पूरे क्षेत्र का माहौल खराब करते हैं।

निवासियों के अनुसार, कॉलेज क्षेत्र के आसपास यह समस्या अब केवल शोर-शराबे तक सीमित नहीं रही, बल्कि इससे महिलाओं, बुजुर्गों, विद्यार्थियों और परिवारों की सुरक्षा को लेकर भी चिंता बढ़ने लगी है। रात के समय लगातार गाड़ियों की आवाजाही और तेज ध्वनि प्रदूषण के कारण लोगों का घरों में रहना मुश्किल हो गया है।

मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए इसकी शिकायत वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक को ईमेल के माध्यम से भी भेजी जा चुकी है, लेकिन दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बात यह है कि शिकायतों के बाद भी जमीनी स्तर पर स्थिति जस की तस बनी हुई है। इससे साफ प्रतीत होता है कि स्थानीय पुलिस प्रशासन इस जनसमस्या को गंभीरता से लेने के बजाय आंखें मूंदे बैठा है।

इसी मुद्दे को लेकर सेक्टर-42 के कम्युनिटी सेंटर में स्थानीय निवासियों की एक विशेष बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें चंडीगढ़ के सांसद मनीष तिवारी भी मौजूद रहे। बैठक के दौरान निवासियों ने सेक्टर-36 कॉलेज क्षेत्र में गाड़ियों के अनावश्यक चक्कर, शोर-शराबे और पुलिस की निष्क्रियता का मुद्दा उनके सामने प्रमुखता से उठाया।

स्थानीय लोगों की समस्याएं सुनने के बाद सांसद मनीष तिवारी ने आश्वासन दिया कि वह इस पूरे मामले को चंडीगढ़ के पुलिस महानिदेशक के समक्ष उठाएंगे और क्षेत्र में कानून व्यवस्था बहाल करने के लिए सख्त कदम उठाने की मांग करेंगे।

लगातार शिकायतों, पार्षद की पहल, निवासियों के रोष और सांसद स्तर पर मामला पहुंचने के बाद अब शहरवासियों की निगाहें चंडीगढ़ पुलिस पर टिकी हैं। बड़ा प्रश्न यह है कि आखिर कब तक सेक्टर-36 के लोग गाड़ियों के इस हुड़दंग, शोर और पुलिस की चुप्पी का सामना करते रहेंगे

Chandigarh,Apr.25, 2026:--वार्ड नम्बर 24 के विकास को नई दिशा देने वाले क्षेत्र के कर्मठ एवं जनप्रिय पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी के निरंतर प्रयासों से आज सेक्टर 36 के पार्कों के चारों ओर जर्जर हो चुकी पेवर ब्लॉक्स की मरम्मत कार्य की शुरुआत गुग्गा माड़ी मंदिर, सेक्टर 36-बी के निकट की गई। वर्षों से उपेक्षा का शिकार रहे इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्य को आखिरकार पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने प्राथमिकता के आधार पर मंजूरी दिलवाकर शुरू करवाया। जिससे सेक्टर 36 ए, बी, सी एवं डी के हजारों निवासियों को सीधा लाभ मिलेगा।

इस अवसर पर क्षेत्रवासियों ने पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी  का आभार प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि वार्ड में विकास कार्यों की जो रफ्तार पिछले कुछ समय में देखने को मिली है, वह पहले कभी दिखाई नहीं दी। लोगों का कहना था कि वार्ड को पहली बार ऐसा पार्षद मिला है, जो केवल आश्वासन नहीं देता बल्कि धरातल पर काम करके दिखाता है।

एसडीओ साहिल ने बताया कि यह पूरा विकास कार्य लगभग 24 लाख रुपये की लागत से किया जा रहा है और ठेकेदार को इसे आगामी चार माह में पूर्ण करना होगा। इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत सेक्टर 36 ए, बी, सी एवं डी के कुल 14 पार्कों के चारों ओर लगी टूटी-फूटी पेवर ब्लॉक्स, किनारों एवं आसपास के हिस्सों की मरम्मत की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि कार्य में 70:30 अनुपात के तहत नई एवं पुरानी सामग्री का उपयोग होगा, ताकि सरकारी धन का सदुपयोग भी सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।

रेजिडेंट्स वेलफेयर सोसायटी सेक्टर 36-बी के प्रधान परमजीत सिंह ने कहा कि पार्कों के चारों ओर यह मरम्मत कार्य लगभग 20 वर्ष पहले हुआ था। जिसके बाद किसी ने इसकी सुध नहीं ली। लेकिन जब से वार्ड की कमान पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने संभाली है, तब से वार्ड की तस्वीर बदलनी शुरू हो गई है। सड़कें, पार्क, सफाई, स्ट्रीट लाइट, सामुदायिक सुविधाएं—हर क्षेत्र में लगातार विकास कार्य हो रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि अब क्षेत्रवासियों को साफ महसूस होने लगा है कि यदि पार्षद ईमानदार, जिम्मेदार और जनता के बीच रहने वाला हो तो वार्ड की दशा और दिशा दोनों बदल जाती हैं। जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने साबित कर दिया है कि जनप्रतिनिधि यदि इच्छाशक्ति रखे तो वर्षों से लंबित पड़े काम भी तेजी से पूरे हो सकते हैं।

क्षेत्रवासियों ने कहा कि टूटी हुई पेवर ब्लॉक्स के कारण बुजुर्गों, महिलाओं और बच्चों को पार्कों में आने-जाने में भारी दिक्कत होती थी, लेकिन अब इस कार्य के पूरा होने के बाद न केवल लोगों को राहत मिलेगी बल्कि पूरे सेक्टर की सुंदरता में भी चार चांद लग जाएंगे।

The exclusive colour scheme of the Vespa 80th series features a special Verde Pastello green that evokes the spring of 1946, and the arrival of a two-wheeled vehicle that was about to take over Italy and Europe, riding the tumultuous, creative wave of a continent's rebirth after war. The shade of green selected is inspired by the colour code of the very first single-colour Vespa models, retrieved from the historical archives, harking back to the 1940s and one of the first iconic Vespa colours, later joined by many others, building its colourful universe over the decades.

The aesthetic language of the Vespa Tech 80th series reflects the values of practicality and functionality that were at the core of a project that was as simple as it was revolutionary in the immediate post-war period: the body colour is extended to a variety of details such as the profile that runs along the perimeter of the shield, the passenger grab handle, the rear-view mirrors, the control units and the front suspension linkage. With its glossy finish, the bodywork is particularly striking, with satin-finish details.

As a result, this new model features a minimalist yet bold look, enhanced by other tone-on-tone elements in a darker green shade: the saddle, embellished with stitching, the rubber inserts on the footrest, and the handles.

Chandigarh, Apr.25, 2026:--आर्किटेक्ट सृष्टि रायज़ादा एक ऐसे हेल्थी कार्यक्रम- SUR (टिकाऊ शहरी-ग्रामीण) का नेतृत्व कर रही हैं, जिसे विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के तहत मान्यता मिली है, और NITI आयोग, अटल इनोवेशन मिशन (भारत सरकार) के तहत सम्मानित किया गया है।

सृष्टि रायजादा के अनुसार यह कार्यक्रम सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य, स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था और सामुदायिक जीवन को एक साथ मज़बूत करने का एक व्यावहारिक, लागू करने योग्य मॉडल है। जो पोषण, निवारक स्वास्थ्य और सहभागी सामुदायिक प्रणालियों के माध्यम से शहरी आबादी को उनके क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र से फिर से जोड़ता है।

सृष्टि रायज़ादा ने बताया कि एक कम्युनिटी स्पेस को “लिविंग रूम” में बदलकर एक ऐसा माहौल तैयार किया जा सकता है। यहाँ लोग आपसी संवाद, जुड़ाव और समझ को मजबूत कर सकें।

उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत शुरुआती तौर पर चंडीगढ़ के दो सामुदायिक केंद्रों में एक सरल "चंडीगढ़ लिविंग रूम" मॉडल का पायलट प्रोजेक्ट चलाया गया। एक  सामुदायिक केंद्र, सेक्टर 19 और हाल ही में ससामुदायिक केंद्र, सेक्टर 42 में आयोजित किया गया। जिनमें यह दिखाया गया कि मौजूदा जगहों को स्वस्थ और अधिक जुड़े हुए सामुदायिक जीवन के लिए सक्रिय केंद्रों में कैसे बदला जा सकता है।

सृष्टि रायज़ादा ने कहा कि मौजूदा समय मे भाग दौड़ भरी जिंदगी में ज़रूरत इस बात की है कि चंडीगढ़ के किसी सामुदायिक केंद्र में एक पायलट 'टिकाऊ सामुदायिक केंद्र' (Sustainable Community Hub) शुरू किया जाए, जो शहर और उसके बाहर के लिए एक बड़े पैमाने पर लागू होने वाले मॉडल के रूप में विकसित हो सके। सृष्टि रायजादा ने पारंपरिक, केमिकल-फ्री खानपान अपनाने और प्लास्टिक के उपयोग को कम करने पर भी जोर दिया।

“कूड़ा नहीं, भ्रष्टाचार प्रोसेस कर रही भाजपा—96 टन गायब, 202 करोड़ खर्च, नतीजा शून्य… जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?”

Chandigarh, Apr.2026:-आज सेक्टर-39 स्थित आम आदमी पार्टी कार्यालय में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रेस वार्ता आयोजित की गई। इस अवसर पर पार्षद हरदीप सिंह बुटेरला, पूर्व मेयर कुलदीप कुमार ढलोर, पार्टी प्रवक्ता योगेश धींगरा एवं स्टेट मीडिया इंचार्ज विक्रांत ए तंवर उपस्थित रहे।

प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए पार्षद हरदीप सिंह बुटेरला ने चंडीगढ़ में कूड़ा प्रबंधन से जुड़े गंभीर मुद्दों को मीडिया के सामने रखा। उन्होंने प्रेस के सभी सदस्यों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि शहर में कूड़े के निपटारे का मामला अब बेहद चिंताजनक स्थिति में पहुंच चुका है और इससे चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन और भाजपा शासित नगर निगम की कार्यप्रणाली पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो रहे हैं।

उन्होंने हाल ही में नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल (NGT) में दाखिल एक रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए बताया कि प्रशासन दावा करता है कि प्रतिदिन 286 मीट्रिक टन कूड़ा प्रोसेस किया जा रहा है, लेकिन करीब 96 मीट्रिक टन कूड़े का कोई स्पष्ट हिसाब नहीं है।

इस पर उन्होंने पहला सीधा सवाल उठाया—“आखिर 96 मीट्रिक टन कूड़ा जा कहां रहा है?”

उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि कुछ दिन पहले डॉ. सनी अहलूवालिया द्वारा पंजाब की ओर जा रहे कूड़ा ले जाने वाले ट्रकों को रोका गया था, जिसे उस समय प्रशासन ने नकार दिया था। लेकिन अब रिपोर्ट में यह साफ हो गया है कि कूड़े का सही तरीके से निपटारा नहीं किया जा रहा, बल्कि उसे अलग-अलग जगहों पर फेंका जा रहा है।

इस पर उन्होंने दूसरा सवाल उठाया—“क्या भाजपा शासित निगम चंडीगढ़ का कूड़ा दूसरे राज्यों में फेंककर अपनी जिम्मेदारी से भाग रहा है?”

बुटेरला ने इस मुद्दे पर खर्च हो रहे करोड़ों रुपये पर भी सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने कहा कि जो खाद तैयार की जा रही है, उसमें भारी धातुएं पाई गई हैं, जिससे वह जहरीली बन चुकी है। यह खाद पार्कों और फलों-सब्जियों में इस्तेमाल हो रही है, जिससे कैंसर और त्वचा रोग जैसी गंभीर बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ रहा है।

इस पर उन्होंने तीसरा बड़ा सवाल पूछा—“जब खाद जहरीली है, तो इसे जनता के बीच इस्तेमाल करने की इजाजत किसने दी और इसकी जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?”

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि रोजाना लगभग 121 मीट्रिक टन बिना प्रोसेस किया हुआ कूड़ा सीधे डंपिंग ग्राउंड में डाला जा रहा है, जिससे पर्यावरणीय संकट और गहरा होता जा रहा है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से जवाबदेही की मांग करते हुए कहा कि जो दावे किए जा रहे हैं, वे जमीनी हकीकत से बिल्कुल अलग हैं।

इस मौके पर योगेश धींगरा ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ की जनता से वर्षों से कूड़े के पहाड़ को खत्म करने के वादे किए जा रहे हैं, लेकिन पिछले 12 वर्षों से भाजपा का मेयर होने के बावजूद स्थिति में कोई ठोस सुधार नहीं हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि डंपिंग ग्राउंड पर जाकर कोई भी व्यक्ति वास्तविक स्थिति देख सकता है और यह स्पष्ट है कि जनता को बार-बार गुमराह किया जा रहा है।

उन्होंने आगे सवाल उठाया कि जब रिपोर्ट में केवल 190 टन कूड़ा ही वहां पहुंचने की बात कही गई है, तो बाकी कूड़ा कहां जा रहा है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कूड़े को पंजाब, हरियाणा और चंडीगढ़ के आसपास के निचले इलाकों में दबाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने इसे जनता के पैसे की खुली लूट करार देते हुए कहा कि यदि कूड़ा इधर-उधर फेंकना ही है, तो करोड़ों रुपये खर्च करने का क्या औचित्य है।

इंदौर का उदाहरण देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि वहां मात्र 16 करोड़ रुपये में एक वर्ष के भीतर कूड़े के पहाड़ को खत्म कर दिया गया और उस स्थान पर पार्क विकसित कर दिया गया। इसके विपरीत, चंडीगढ़ में 2024 से 2026 के बीच लगभग 202 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जा चुके हैं, फिर भी समस्या जस की तस बनी हुई है।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वर्ष 2021 में आम आदमी पार्टी को 14 पार्षदों का जनादेश मिलने के बाद से पार्टी लगातार इस मुद्दे को उठा रही है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि यदि कूड़े के पहाड़ में 20-25% की कमी आई है, तो वह केवल आम आदमी पार्टी के निरंतर प्रयासों का परिणाम है।

पूर्व मेयर कुलदीप कुमार ढलोर ने भी प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि उनका घर डंपिंग ग्राउंड के पास है और वे इस समस्या को करीब से देख रहे हैं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कूड़े के पहाड़ को खत्म करने के बजाय उसे छिपाने के लिए 20 फीट ऊंची दीवार बनाई गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि कूड़े को खत्म नहीं किया जा रहा, बल्कि उसे अन्य जगहों पर फैलाया जा रहा है, जिससे पानी और वातावरण दोनों प्रदूषित हो रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 40 वर्षों से लोग इस डंपिंग ग्राउंड को हटाने की मांग कर रहे हैं, लेकिन नगर निगम और प्रशासन इस मामले में हाईकोर्ट और जनता दोनों को गुमराह कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि अदालत ने इस मामले में सख्ती दिखाते हुए मई 2026 तक कूड़े के निपटारे का निर्देश दिया है।

अंत में मुख्य मांगें रखी गईं:

96 मीट्रिक टन कूड़ा कहाँ जा रहा है, इसका स्पष्ट जवाब दिया जाए

जहरीली खाद के उपयोग पर तुरंत रोक लगाई जाए

202 करोड़ रुपये के खर्च का पूरा हिसाब सार्वजनिक किया जाए

पूरे मामले की विजिलेंस या CBI जांच करवाई जाए।
