Cross Connection Star Cast Reaches North Country Mall Mohali

By 121 News Reporter

Mohali 27th December:- A Punjabi musical comedy movie 'Cross Connection' hit screen today. The star cast of movie including lead cast Garry Waraich, Nancy Johal and Sumandeep, Gurchet Chitrkar, Tarsem Paul and Raman Dhilon joined audience at North Country Mall, Mohali in morning show .

The movie is directed by Nishant Bhardwaj and produced by Jasbir Dhillon of Dhillon Creations in association with Music One. The other star cast of movie includes Upasana Singh, BN Sharma , Dilaver Sidhu, Dr. Sahib Singh, Jarnail Jelly, Pankaj Sharma, Anju Aggrawal and Rajinder Rozy.

Every second in movie one face unsolicited gentlemen and ladies, young, cute and beautiful lasses and very outgoing and timidly bold young dudes who go the extra mile in quest of their love. And behold, you are in the realm of hilarity and good times that are sand witched between uncertainty and ambiguity of the gravest kind. Misunderstandings and misconceptions rule the roost and at breakneck pace, characters go hurtling down the ethereal skies of wanton cosmos. A strict brigadier's romantically inclined son, meekly submits to the erratically whimsical daughter of an IAS officer's whims and fancies. Ironically, a confused son of a political big wig from Punjab is a hot contender for the hand of a police commissioner's gorgeous, sexy  and beautiful daughter. Why and how their paths cross ?

The process, happenings and the results are all very topsy-turvy yet smooth as silk, very comforting and tantalising. The entire thing tickles our funny bone. Cross Connection causes mistakes to be made by the young protagonists only to be reigned in by the elders in a covertly and overtly  strict, yet amiable manner. The film brings in whiffs of fresh air into the family bonds in a very subtle and entertaining vein. The Smile, at times, turns into guffaws every now and then but it sits perennially on your lips. It has to be a U certificate film for family viewing that sets a fresher benchmark for humour in Punjabi Cinema.

Ms. Rimi Dhar the Music Director of movie is a youngest female music director of India besides only female music director in Punjabi cinema. The movie songs have been sung by Rahat Fateh Ali khan , Arif Lohar, Kamal khan, Navraj Hans, Monika, Tochi Raina, Deepali Sathe and Rimi Dhar.

Around 200 students and teachers attended a health workshop. The workshop focused on how to avoid becoming a victim of internet, how it affected the individual and signs of symptoms of such an addiction

Teenagers who have trouble inter-connecting personally with people might depend on the Internet as a place to understand by their peers. Thus it was turing into a replacement for social interaction. That was how they would start living in virtual reality and start to have trouble dealing with real life and relationships. Internet addiction might be a symptom of an underlying problem like depression. Discussing the symptoms of internet addiction, Dr Jain shared that diminished interest in activities you once enjoyed, feelings of distress or anxiousness when your could not use the Internet , secretive Internet usage and withdrawal from activities with family and friends were some such warning signs. If the child grade began dropping or if he or she complained of being tired all the time, the Internet could be the underlying cause.

Monday 22 December 2014

By 121 News Reporter

Chandigarh 22nd December:- Bhartiya janta Yuva Morcha Chandigarh organised a programme "Atulya Atal" to commemorate the birth anniversary of  Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Law Bhawan and requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi  to honour him with Bharat Ratna as he deserves this honour which is a long overdue. Ex CM Himachal Prem Kumar Dhumal and Lal Ji Tondon, former minister and Ex CM Lucknow were present as Chief Guests.

Prem Kumar Dhumal said that  Atal Vajpayee was admired by his supporters for his oratory. Even Jawaharlal Nehru had a very high opinion of him. The Sangh Parivaar saw him as a saffron answer to Nehru. Like Nehru, he was idealist to the core, open- minded, accommodating and a democrat in the true sense. It was because of his charisma that he could lead a coalition of more than two dozens of political parties in 1998. It was not a mean achievement for a man whose party had always been treated by others as untouchable.

Balramji Das Tondon said that Vajpayee transcended the BJP and its ideology and through him, the party and the Sangh Parivaar became acceptable. Advani could never emerge from the shadow of the Atal ji. He was the darling of the Hindutva forces but his acceptability was limited. Atal ji, as called by many is a tall figure in Indian politics and mesmerised one and all with his oratory skills. He is a clean person in our dirty Indian politics. It would have been so difficult for him to stick to his identity inspite of being in a party of hardliners. Its a well known perception in India that he is a right man, stuck in wrong party.

Amit Rana, President BJYM said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji is the alone Non-Congress leader who is popular among masses and attained unparalleled respect from all quarters of life. All his speeches were mesmerising and pleasing for ears. His words of Confidence when he won the Vote of confidence, or his emotional speech when Jayalalitha withdrew support and his government lost by one vote, his words of anguish during Babri Masjid demolition or his disapproval of Modi during gujarat riots...all will be recorded in the annals of Indian history.
