Chandigarh, Jan.23, 2023:- दिल दिया है जान भी देंगे ऐ वतन तेरे लिए, छोड़ो कल की बातें, फिर भी दिल है हिंदुस्तानी, कर चले हम फिदा जान ओ तन साथियों, ए मेरे वतन के लोगों जरा आंख में भर लो पानी जैसे देशभक्ति के गीतों ने सोमवार को पंचकूला में ऐसा समां बांधा की माहौल देशभक्ति से ओतप्रोत हो गया। मौका था, पंचकूला सेक्टर 5 के इंद्रधनुष ऑडिटोरियम में वीटा एवम एस बी आई ट्राईसिटी इंटर स्कूल ग्रुप सिंगिंग कम्पटीशन ऑन पेट्रियोटिक सांग्स का। इस समारोह में हरियाणा सरकार के उपक्रम वीटा ने भी सहभागिता की। वहीं इस अवसर पर हरियाणा विधानसभा स्पीकर ज्ञान चंद गुप्ता ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत करते हुए दीप ज्योति प्रजवल्लित की और प्रतिभागी टीमों की हौंसला आफजाई करते हुए उन्हें देश के प्रति अलख जगाए रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि सभी को प्रण लेना चाहिए की देश की एकता और अखंडता व देश को सर्वोपरि मानने के लिए वचनबद्ध रहेंगे। देश को सर्वप्रथम माने और देश को बिश्व गुरु बनाने में अपना पूर्ण सहयोग दे ।इस अवसर पर SBI के एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव आफिस, हरियाणा सर्कल के रीजनल मैनेजर अणि कामदी बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर ब्रिगेडियर कुलदीप सिंह चांदपुरी के सपुत्र हरदीप सिंह चांदपुरी, परमवीर चक्र विजेता कैप्टन अमोल कालिया के पिता सतपाल जी, फ्रीडम फाइटर सक्सेसर एसोसिएशन, चंडीगढ़ पंजाब और हरियाणा के अध्यक्ष भी उपस्थित थे। इस प्रतियोगिता में द ट्रिब्यून स्कूल चंडीगढ़ एवम विद्या वैली स्कूल खरड़ संयुक्त विजेता रहे। उन्हें विजेता ट्रॉफी और सर्टिफिकेट देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

इस स्कूल ग्रुप सिंगिंग प्रतियोगिता का संचालन टीम सॉल्यूशन्स द्वारा किया गया था। जिसे सभागार में उपस्थित सभी ने सराहा

"मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा- तो बने सुर हमारा" टाइटल वाली यह प्रतियोगिता 26 जनवरी गणतंत्र दिवस और सुभाष चंद्र बोस की जन्मतिथि को समर्पित थी।

        

    देशभक्ति से ओतप्रोत इस प्रतियोगिता में ट्राईसिटी के लगभग 17 स्कूलों के टीमों ने भाग लिया और देशभक्ति के गीतों से ऐसा समां बांधा की सभागार में उपस्थित हर कोई अभिभूत हो गया। बच्चे ज्यों ज्यों देशभक्ति वाले गीत गाते गए, त्यों त्यों लोग देशभक्ति के रंग में रंगे नजर आए। बल्कि बच्चों के साथ हर किसी को बराबर गीत गाते भी देखा गया।

    समारोह का मुख्य आकर्षण फ्रीडम फाइटरज और गैलेंट्री अवार्ड विजेता के परिवारों को भी आमंत्रित किया गया था। समारोह के दौरान देश के प्रति उनके योगदान को देखते हुए उन्हें सम्मानित भी किया गया।

   विशिष्ट अतिथि रीजनल मैनेजर अणि कामदी ने अपने संबोधन में सभागार में उपस्थित लोगों को गणतंत्र दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए प्रतियोगिता में शामिल स्कूली बच्चों को भी देशभक्ति वाले गाये गीतों के लिए मुबारकबाद दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह देश की भावी पीढ़ी है और देश की बागडोर अब इनके हाथ मे है। वहीं उन्होंने एस बी आई द्वारा गवर्नमेंट और प्राइवेट स्कूलों के बच्चों में फाइनांशियल लिटरेसी और फाइनांशियल इंकलयूजन के प्रति जागरुकता लाने के उद्देश्य से जीरो बैलेंस एकाउंट खोले जाने की भी बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए बच्चों को आधार कार्ड और स्कूल सर्टिफिकेट की फोटोकॉपी सहित एक फोटो देना होगा।

    टीम सॉल्यूशन्स के संचालक नवल किशोर ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता की विशेषता स्टूडेंट्स से देशभक्ति के गीत गवाना ही नही था, बल्कि उनमें देशभक्ति को जागृत करना भी था। ताकि बतौर भावी पीढ़ी वो भी समझ सकें कि हम देश से है, देश हमसे नही। उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए सेक्टर 26 स्थित महात्मा गांधी इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन में आयोजित जोनल राउंड में ट्राईसिटी से 44 टीमें थी। फाइनल राउंड तक 17 टीमें शेष रह गई थी। जिन्होंने आज इस फाइनल प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लिया। विजेता रही टीम्स को यहां ट्रॉफी और सर्टिफिकेट दिए गए वहीं अन्य प्रतिभागी टीमों को कन्सोलेशन प्राइज दिए गए।

   समारोह के अंत मे प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले सभी छात्रों और आगंतुक को वीटा और फाइव रिवर द्वारा रिफ्रेशमेंट भी बांटा गया।

Chandigarh, Jan.23, 2023:-आम आदमी पार्टी चंडीगढ़  के महिला विंग की महासचिव अमनप्रीत कौशल आज साथियों सहित भाजपा में शामिल हो गए। उक्त जानकारी देते हुए भाजपा प्रदेश प्रवक्ता कैलाश चन्द जैन ने बताया आज उनके साथ अमित कौशल व प्रीत इंदर मौदगिल ने भी  भाजपा में  शामिल हुए।

भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अरुण सूद ने पार्टी का पटका पहनाकर सभी का पार्टी में  स्वागत किया तथा कहा कि आज की जॉइनिंग से पार्टी को बल मिलेगा तथा सभी को पार्टी में उचित मान सम्मान दिया जाएगा । उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त कि आज पार्टी में आने वाले सभी कार्यकर्ता भाजपा की कार्यशैली के अनुरूप ही पार्टी के कार्य को आगे बढ़ाने का काम करेंगे।

अमनप्रीत कौशल आम आदमी पार्टी की महिला विंग की महासचिव है तथा उन्होंने वार्ड नम्बर 5 से आप के प्रत्याशी के रूप में चुनाव भी लड़ा था व 1900 मत हासिल किए थे, इसके अलावा वह कई सामाजिक संगठनों से भी जुड़ी हुई है।

Bed -Ridden 60 yr Female with Rheumatoid Arthritis Undergoes Successful Knee Replacement Surgery for Both Knees

Chandigarh, Jan.21, 2023:- A 60 year old female with severe knee rheumatoid arthritis has undergone a successful knee replacement surgery at Shalby Hospital, Mohali recently.

    Dr. Gagandeep Gupta, a senior Ortho Surgeon at Shalby Hospital, Mohali who performed the procedure informed that female was suffering from severe knee pain, swelling, deformity and limp in both knees from the past few years. Due to this she was unable to walk and chances of walking again after surgery were also very low.

Giving details of surgery, Dr. Gagandeep Gupta further informed that the female was experiencing pain in her both knees a few years back for which she kept on taking pain killers and doing physiotherapy. Later when the problem graved and she even started to face problems in walking. She had to be accompanied for her toilet needs too. She approached many hospitals where she was advised to go for surgery but with no surety of her walking normal after surgery.

Later she approached Dr. Gagandeep Gupta and he decided to go for surgery which was difficult as compared to normal knee replacement.

Patient was very fragile and had low hemoglobin levels; hence we took the decision of operating one knee at a time. Left knee was operated on first. Right knee was operated on 6 months later. As the patient had an old healed fracture on right leg, we had to correct leg deformity first by putting a plate in right leg. After 3 months, she has undergone knee replacement surgery on right knee. It was a very challenging surgery.

Dr. Gagandeep Gupta said that the knee joint was jammed and bones were stuck in each other. We had to use a rod (called stem) on both legs to offload the lower bone (called tibia), he informed.

After surgery, the female is perfectly fine and can walk without any pain.

Talking about rheumatoid arthritis, Dr. Gagandeep informed it's an inflammatory form of arthritis. Women are more commonly affected than men . The bones start rubbing against each other which affect joint movement and eventually causing pain, swelling and deformity, Dr. Gagandeep informed.

Meanwhile Dr. Gagandeep Gupta is an expert in doing Stitchless & Painless Knee Replacement Surgeries (SLPL), which is a new technique in knee resurfacing. मंगू, द फाइटर' का ट्रेलर, पोस्टर रिलीज

Chandigarh, Jan.21, 2023:- भरपूर मौज-मस्ती करने के लिए तैयार रहें क्योंकि 'मंगू, द फाइटर' प्रमुख ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर रिलीज होने के लिए तैयार है। अंग्रेजी फीचर फिल्म का ट्रेलर और पोस्टर यहां चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में इसकी निर्माता स्वर्णजीत कौर वरैच, लेखक व निर्देशक परविंदर सिंह वरैच और फिल्म के कलाकारों द्वारा एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान जारी किया गया।

यह पहली अंग्रेजी फीचर फिल्म है जिसे पंजाब के एक प्रोडक्शन हाउस द्वारा तैयार किया गया है। फिल्म रैड आई प्रोडक्शंस के बैनर तले बनी है, जिसका कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस मोहाली, पंजाब में है।

लेखक एवं निदेशक परविंदर सिंह वरैच ने मीडियाकर्मियों को बताया कि 'मंगू' एक्वेरियम की एक छोटी मछली है। पंजाब के प्रोडक्शन हाउस अक्सर पंजाबी या हिंदी फिल्में ही बनाते हैं, हमने एक नई शैली के साथ प्रयोग किया है और अंग्रेजी भाषा की एक फिल्म बनाई है।

 

फिल्म की कहानी इसकी ताकत है, यह ढर्रे से अलग हट कर है। मंगू घर के एक्वेरियम में मौजूद एक 'असली मछली' का नाम है, जो फिल्म का हीरो है। फिल्म बनाने में किसी भी तरह के एनिमेशन का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया गया है। 'मंगू, द फाइटर' एक घर के फिश टैंक में रहने वाली मछलियों की कहानी है। घर का मालिक घर खाली कर देता है और मछलियों तथा पौधों के लिए केयरटेकर नियुक्त कर देता है। मैं पूरी कहानी यहां नहीं बता पाऊंगा क्योंकि तब सस्पेंस ही खत्म हो जाएगा, लेकिन इतना कह सकता हूं कि कहानी मंगू के साहस और वीरता को बहुत रचनात्मक तरीके से दर्शाती है।

निर्माता स्वर्णजीत कौर वरैच ने कहा कि 21 दिनों तक मोहाली और चंडीगढ़ में विभिन्न स्थानों पर फिल्म की शूटिंग की गई थी। दो करोड़ रुपये के बजट वाली यह फिल्म पूरी हो चुकी है और प्रमुख ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर रिलीज के लिए तैयार है।

'मंगू, द फाइटर' के निर्माण में आने वाली चुनौतियों के बारे में बात करते हुए, स्वर्णजीत कौर ने कहा कि शूटिंग का कठिन हिस्सा यह था कि हमें मछली के अपनी स्थिति में वापस आने और मुंह खोलने तक धैर्य के साथ इंतजार करना पड़ा। दूसरी चुनौती जिसका हमने सामना किया वह थी बेतहाशा ठंड। एक्वेरियम में तापमान को नियंत्रित रखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण था अन्यथा मछलियां बीमार हो सकती थीं। डबिंग के दौरान, हमें मछलियों के होठों की गति के साथ संवाद का मिलान करना था।

इस अवसर पर लीड रोल करने वाले अभिनेता, विनमरजोत सिंह वरैच ने अपने विचार साझा करते हुए कहा कि मुझे याद है कि लगभग 7 साल पहले मछली पर बनी एक फिल्म 'फाइंडिंग डोरी' हॉलीवुड में रिलीज हुई थी। उसके बाद हॉलीवुड और बॉलीवुड में जानवरों, खासकर मछली पर कोई फिल्म नहीं बनी। वास्तव में, अवतार और एवेंजर्स जैसी काल्पनिक फिल्मों के अलावा कोई भी फिल्म बच्चों के लिए बनाई ही नहीं गई। इसलिए हमें विश्वास है कि यह फिल्म, जो एक नई शैली पेश करेगी, बच्चों और बड़ों को समान रूप से उत्साहित करेगी।

क्रिएटिव डायरेक्टर और सेकेंड लीड एक्ट्रेस, हरकिरण कौर वरैच ने कहा कि बच्चों को एक्वेरियम में रंगीन मछलियों के पल पसंद आएंगे, जबकि बड़ों को इसके पीछे की कहानी जरूर भाएगी। "यह एक अद्भुत कांसेप्ट के साथ अच्छी तरह से चित्रित फिल्म है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि रैड आई प्रोडक्शंस चलाने वाला वरैच परिवार पिछले 15 सालों से फिल्म व्यवसाय में है। उन्होंने अपनी फिल्मों और लघु फिल्मों के लिए कई राष्ट्रीय व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार जीते हैं। उनकी पहले की पुरस्कार विजेता फिल्मों में 'टैंक क्लीनर,' 'गेस्ट अनवांटेड,' और 'शू मेकर' प्रमुख हैं।

फिल्म के अन्य कलाकारों में रमनदीप, हैप्पी बनमाजरा और जसबीर ढिल्लों शामिल हैं। क्रू में शामिल हैं- सेकेंड यूनिट डायरेक्टर अनुराग शर्मा, प्रोडक्शन हेड मोहन शर्मा, चीफ असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर साहिल कुमार, प्रोडक्शन मैनेजर हिमांशु और प्रोडक्शन कंट्रोलर रविंदर सिंह।

फिल्म की अवधि एक घंटा 45 मिनट है। मूल रूप से अंग्रेजी में निर्मित फिल्म को हिंदी, तमिल, तेलुगु, मलयालम और उड़िया भाषा में डब किया गया है। जल्द ही इसे फ्रेंच, जर्मन, स्पेनिश, इतालवी, कोरियाई और यहां तक कि जापानी भाषा में भी डब किया जाएगा।

Trailer, Poster of ‘Mangu, The Fighter’ Released

Chandigarh, Jan.21, 2023:-Be ready to have wholesome fun and enjoyment as 'Mangu, The Fighter' is all set to be released on prominent OTT platforms. Trailer and poster of the English feature film were released here at Chandigarh Press Club by its producer Swaranjit Kaur Wraich, writer and director Parvinder Singh Wraich, and the cast of the movie during a press conference.

The film marks a first - its the first English feature film ever produced by a Punjab based production house. The film has been made under the banner of   RED i Productions, which has its corporate office in Mohali, Punjab.

Parvinder Singh Wraich, Writer and Director, told media persons that 'Mangu' is a small fish in the aquarium. "While by and large Punjab based production houses make Punjabi or Hindi films we have experimented with a new genre -that of an English language film."

The story of the film is its strong point, it is  different from the league. Mangu is the name of a 'real fish' in a house aquarium, who is the hero of the film. No animation has been used in making the film. 'Mangu, The Fighter' is a story of fishes living in a fish tank in a house. The house owner vacates the house and appoints a caretaker for fishes and plants. I may not be able to share the story here as then the suspense will be over, but what I can say is that the story shows very creatively the courage and  heroism of Mangu.

Producer Swaranjit Kaur Wraich said that the film was shot at different locations in Mohali and Chandigarh for 21 days. The film with a total budget of Rs 2 crore is complete and ready for release on major OTT platforms.

Talking about challenges in producing 'Mangu, The Fighter,' Swaranjit Kaur Wraich said that the tough part of shooting was that we had to wait with patience for the fish to come to its position and open its mouth.  She added that the other challenge we faced was the  extreme cold, keeping the temperature warm in the aquarium was very important otherwise fishes could get sick. During dubbing, we had to match the dialogue with the lip movement of the fishes. 

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Vinamarjot Singh Wraich, lead actor, said he remember around 7 years back, a film on fish 'Finding Dory' was released in Hollywood, after that, no film was made in Hollywood and Bollywood on animals, especially fish. "Actually, no film is made for kids apart from fantasy films like Avatar and Avengers. So we are confident that this film which will offer a fresh genre will enthuse children and mature audiences alike.

Harkiran Kaur Wraich, Creative Director and Second Lead Actor, said that children would like the colorful fishes' moments in the aquarium, while adults will definitely like the story behind it. She said that it is a wonderfully conceptualized and well depicted film.

It is worth mentioning that the Wraich family which runs RED i Productions has been into the film business for the last 15 years. They have won several national and international awards for their films and short films. Their earlier award-winning films are ~ 'Tank Cleaner,' 'Guest Unwanted,' and 'Shoe Maker.'

The other artistes in the film are Ramandeep , Happy Banmajra and Jasbir Dhillon. As far as the crew is concerned the second Unit director is Anurag Sharma, production head is Mohan Sharma, Sahil Kumar is Chief Assistant Director, Sahil the First Assistant Director, while Himanshu is Production Manager and Ravinder Singh the Production Controller.

The duration of the film is one hour and forty-five minutes. Originally produced in English, the film has been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Oriya. It will soon be dubbed in foreign languages -French, German, Spanish, Italian, Korean and even Japanese .

Dikshant School to organize 7th Edition of Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival

 Dikshant School is organizing the 7th Edition of Chandigarh Children's Literature Festival (CCLF 2023) on the 4th and 5th of February 2023 at Dikshant Global School, VIP Road, Zirakpur. The festival will feature some of the most prominent children's authors, illustrators, and storytellers, thus providing an excellent platform for children to discover the joy of reading. The details of the unique literary fiesta for children were shared by Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant Schools and Madhav Kaushik, Vice President, National Sahitya Akademy in a press conference held at Press Club, here. 

Mitul Dikshit, Chairman Dikshant Schools said that the much-awaited seventh iteration of the festival will see authors and illustrators from diverse backgrounds. The motive of the festival is simple - to enthuse children to develop an interest in reading books & in creative writing. The authors who will be participating are from diverse corners of India and this will give a great exposure to children attending the fest.

The festival is featuring over 17 top authors and illustrators, who will conduct sessions and workshops for children of ages 3 to 17 years. Besides meeting their favourite authors, children can also engage in interesting interactions during story sessions, writing/illustration workshops, film screenings, to name a few.

Madhav Kaushik, Chairman, Chandigarh Sahitya Akademy and Vice President National Sahitya Akademy said that such festivals form a strong base which in turn helps children develop an interest in literature earlier on in life.

The curator of the festival is a well-known author Ms. Chatura Rao.  Chatura Rao writes stories for children and news articles about the goings-on in the world. Apart from the book reading session, Ms Chatura will also be conducting a fantasy writing workshop for children at the festival.

Some of the prominent & award-winning authors participating in the fest are - Lavanya Karthik, Samina Mishra , Pankaj Saikia , Vikram Agnihotri , Rajiv Eipe ,  Nandita Basu, Pika Nani (Deepika Murthy), Divya Arya, Devika Cariapa, Priti David, Adithi Rao, Chatura Rao , Kevin Missal, Kapil Pandey, Sanket Pathkar and Canato Jimo.

The authors will cover myriad genres of literature in various sessions, which include Fictional/Fantasy, Graphic Novel, Picture Book, Mythology, Adventure, Journalistic Stories, Horror, Thriller, Historical Fiction, Non-Fiction/Biography. Moreover, it will also include social issues & stories from the pandemic.  

A very well-known graphic novelist and musician Nandita Basu will be reading from her well acclaimed YA (Young Adults) novels – 'The Piano', 'A story of a friendship' and 'Rain must Fall'. She will also be conducting a workshop on the art of storytelling through comics.  

Children will also get a chance to interact with Divya Arya, who is an award-winning journalist. Her book 'Postbox Kashmir: Two lives in letters', traces the political history of Kashmir and rest of India through conversations between two young girls. She will also be conducting a workshop on journalism as a profession.

Well known documentary filmmaker and author Samina Mishra will be reading from her award winning book 'Jamlo walk' based on what the lockdown did to the people of India, particularly its young citizens. She will also be conducting a film appreciation workshop for students.

During the workshop with the award-winning author Lavanya Karthik, children will be exploring different illustration styles to tell a story.

Another inspiring session at the festival would be by Vikram Agnihotri on his book 'Look Ma, No Hands!' The book is a biographical novel written in the style of a graphic narrative.  Vikram Agnihotri is India's first double-arm amputee to get a car driving licence and then become a racing driver.

      मनीमाजरा स्थित शिव ठाकुर द्वारा मंदिर में शिव सेना (शिंदे) के चंडीगढ़ प्रभारी रोहित शर्मा की अगुवाई में दल के सदस्यों ने माता मनसा देवी मंदिर श्राइन बोर्ड और हरियाणा सरकार के खिलाफ रोष प्रकट करते हुए प्रोटेस्ट किया। शिव सेना (शिंदे) के सदस्यों ने श्राइन बोर्ड और हरियाणा सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी भी की।

    रोहित शर्मा ने कहा कि श्राइन बोर्ड और हरियाणा सरकार ने मंदिरों में वी आई पी कल्चर शुरू करते हुए प्रवेश शुल्क लगाने की तैयारी की है, जिससे कि जो जितने ज्यादा की पर्ची कटवाएंगे उन्हें वी आई पी ट्रीटमेंट देते हुए पब्लिक के साथ लाइन में न लग कर अन्य द्वार से माता के दरबार मे माथा टेक आरती करने और आशीर्वाद लेने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त होगा। जबकि आमजन लाइन में लग अपनी बारी की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए माता के दरबार तक पहुंचेगा, यहां पुजारी उसे ठीक से माथा बजी टेकने नही देगा। रोहित शर्मा ने आगे कहा कि यह श्राइन बोर्ड और सरकार का निंदनीय कृत्य है। सबको इसका विरोध करना चाहिए । उनकी मांग है कि श्राइन बोर्ड और सरकार इस शुल्क को वापिस ले अन्यथा वो अपना रोष प्रदर्शन और तेज करेंगे और सरकार के खिलाफ लोगों को एकजुट करेंगे।

The ŠKODA SERVICE CHALLENGE was instituted in 2011.  It is a national level competition that evaluates Parts Managers, Diagnostic and Master Technicians, Service Technicians, and Service Advisors among others. 

From the 752 initial participants in 2021, the year 2022 saw 1,161 initial participants from dealerships across India in online rounds held in August 2022, followed by face-to-face Regional Rounds in September 2022. Top 10 individuals from the 5 categories competed in the finals held in ŠKODA AUTO-VW India's Training Academy in Pune on January 18, 2023. The competition consisted of several rounds of tests assessing participants on theory, practical and soft skills.
