Chandigarh 02nd March:- Dr. S.M.Bose , former Senior Prof. and head of surgery dept of PGI, Chandigarh was awarded the prestigious National Award for Outstanding Efforts in Science and Technology Communication for the year 2015. The award was presented by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Science & Technology, in a glittering function organised on the occasion of National Science Day Celebrations in Raman auditorium of Technology Bhavan, New Delhi.
Dr. Bose, a popular senior surgeon, has published more than one hundred articles & books; and delivered health education lectures. He has earlier received two National Awards of Medical Council of India from President of India for Medical Teaching and Outstanding Research.
