Chandigarh 19th March:- RIMT World School celebrated its Annual Achievers' Day for Classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, I & II. For Kindergartners a 'Graduation Day' was organized to mark the tiny tots' entry into Class I. The little ones looked cute dressed up in gowns that went well with the graduation concept.
The event saw a Cultural fiesta put together by students. Students sang 'RIMTians We Are', the school song written & composed by the faculty of RIMT World School. Skits were presented by students and the unique aspect was that the show was anchored also by pupils. Fusion dance items were part of the programme. Students were rewarded for achieving 100% attendance, Excellence in academics, for being most versatile etc. To make the celebration participatory, even parents were honoured. Mothers who sent their children to school with most nutritive tiffins were recognized & applauded.
Mrs. Poonam Katoch, Principal, RIMT World School, said that their school believes in honouring achievers so every year they hold Achievers' Day. The uniqueness of an RIMT education is that it not only awards toppers but all children, as each student is an achiever in his or her own right. Keeping this in view while on one hand achievers were given trophies all other students were also felicitated.
