Chandigarh 06th January: ---- The students of Department of Aerospace & Aeronautical Engineering and staff of Gurukul Vidyapeeth today celebrated the successful launch of GSAT-14 by ISRO and organized a cake cutting ceremony at Sector 20, the Head Office of Gurukul Vidyapeeth. The patriotic fervor was in evidence and every individual present declared that he/she was proud to be an Indian.

"I am proud to be an Indian" said Dr. Manmohan Kumar Garg, Chairman and CEO of Gurukul Vidyapeeth. "As an educationist, I am happy to know that our Aerospace and Aeronautical students who will graduate this year have a bright and challenging future to look forward to" he added. Congratulations India!! We, as a nation have finally joined the big league of space powers when ISRO launched a heavy duty rocket with indigenous cryogenic booster on January 5th at 4.35p.m. This is indeed a feather in the cap for Independent India. We can happily say that we are in a powerful position to command respect from the rest of the world. To put it succinctly, this is a red letter day in the annals of Indian history.
